Description
The newest kid on the hotel block in Nevis is this beachfront inn, which uses pastel pinks and tropical flowered prints in keeping with its bright new look. Modern and clean, the inn has been tastefully decorated with rattan furniture, terracotta-tile floors, and sisal rugs.

Eleven of the rooms have two double beds; the rest have kings, and all have their own hammocks on the beachfront porches. From that vantage point you can spend the days watching the frigate birds dive for prey or study the clouds as they float over neighboring St. Kitts. If you get a spark of energy, you can walk to the hotel pool, located right near the beach, or even to Tequila
Sheila's, the hotel's popular beach restaurant.

Located on its own beach, the hotel is in (long) walking distance to the capital town of Charlestown, down the west coast of the island, which will take about an hour. It's on the Main Road, so guests can catch the public bus from the hotel in and out of town.

All the rooms have private verandahs overlooking the beach. There are hair dryers, coffeemakers, ceiling fans, air conditioners and refrigerators in each room. At the hotel, there's a full-service restaurant operating in season. If the hotel's not filled, your continental breakfast will be delivered to your patio each morning. The breakfast and dinner meal plan costs $35 per day per person; three meals are $50 per day.

The hotel's newest feature, a jazz brunch on Sunday's, has become one of the island's more popular events. And many guests also enjoy dining at the owner's second restaurant called Eddy's in Charlestown, a popular spot especially on Wednesday nights when happy hours start early but can carry on to the wee hours of the morning.

Because of its comfortable accommodations, reasonable rates, and easy accessibility to town, the hotel is used widely by business and government travelers and people involved with the offshore financial sector on the island. There is fax and e-mail service available for business travelers.

Since it's on the beach, the hotel can arrange a variety of water sports, hiking and biking, and can arrange trips to other islands.
