Q: I just booked a trip to stay for 6 nights at El San Juan Hotel & Casino in July of 2008 and I've been reading horrible reviews about it. It seems like there are bed bug issues and complaints about the hotel being very dirty with very poor customer service. It is supposed to be a 4 and a half stars hotel but is are all these reviews true and should I expect bed bugs on my bed and customer service will be no help? The travel agent says that it had just been renovated so there should be no problem but these reviews were posted this year. I have a feeling that my travel agent could careless and just wants to make commission. Can someone please let me know? Or else I will just change my hotel.

Q: We are coming to Vieques from the main island of Puerto Rico on 12/27/07 and returning on 1/1/08. We have rented a car in San Juan because we are visiting there before we come. We have been told that we cannot bring the car from San Juan on the regular ferry. There is supposed to be a private ferry. Do you know how to contact them and if this is so? There are no rental cars left on Vieques. We are a family of 6 and feel we will need a car while there. Do you have any suggestions? National Car Rental told me it is OK with them if I take the car to Vieques.
