Q: We will be traveling to Tortola but our mileage plus only gets us to Puerto rico. What is the best way to get to Tortola from there? Answer

A: I believe you can take a ferry to St. Thomas and then a ferry to St. john and then to Tortoola. But the ferry to St. Thomas from Puerto rico is only a few times a month I believe. It is best to fly to tortola from san juan, but you can also fly to st. thomas and get a ferry. If you have a surf board you have to check with the airline because I don't think you can fly into tortola with a surfboard, small planes. Good luck
