Q: My fiancee and I are looking for a place in/near San Juan to have a wedding and reception with about 50 guests. We'd like either something right on the beach OR something in Old San Juan. We DON'T want a typical resort wedding. We'd like something smaller, with friendly owners and a more authentic atmosphere. Budget is limited. Any ideas? Anyone want to help us? Answer

A: Hotel El convento in Old San Juan is not on the beach; however the old Convent would be perfect for a wedding!!
