Ours was not a good experience! Visited: May 2007 Posted by leemari84 My husband and I - along with my mother (whom is wheelchair bound) - stayed at the Best Western for two nights. First of all, the room was not as big as it seemed on the photos. Also, we had two full-size beds instead of queen size beds. The room also had a mild mildew odor. Most disturbing was that my mom left her wallet on the table, and a large amount of money was missing when we returned from a family member's house. Our mistake was not putting it in the room's safe. I have to admit that the bathroom was huge and comfortable for a handicapped person. Overall, this was not a hotel I will be returning back to. Visited: May 2006 Posted by andreamnyc Sure, it's not one of your high priced hotels, but it has the essentials: cleanliness, courteous staff, good location (right next to bus for Old San Juan and the beach). Also, the hotel pool, Jacuzzi, and restaurant were a bonus. The property was very nice and clean. Also, the front desk staff was very helpful. The only thing I would have to complain about was that when we checked in, they did not tell us about $10 fee for valet parking for every night. Best of all was the free breakfast! Visited: May 2002 Posted by wkrodgers I have stayed at Hotel Pierre on several occasions when traveling on business. It's location is convenient to the Old Town, Isla Verde, Hato Rey, Santurce and Condado. They have good restaurants, too. Try Lilly's (in the hotel) and the Metropol (next door). Also, across the street is Pueblo, a U.S.-style supermarket.
