I stayed at the Courtyard Marriott July 2008. It was the best hotel I have been to in a long time. The staff was great - especially the manager Mr. Arroyo. He was very accommodating and tended to guests' needs.
The hotel was very clean, and the staff was very nice and helpful - from the doormen to the managers. The restaurants were great, too. If you stay here, you must eat at Salsa Restaurant, the buffet will be the best Puerto Rican cuisine you will ever eat.
The beach was great, and so were the pools (even though they should get cleaned every other day).
One more thing that was great in this hotel, was that there was nightly live entertainment that everyone enjoyed. Also, if you like casinos - this is your place to stay.
This is a great hotel for business people, families and couples.

I brought my three teenagers to this hotel, and everyone loved it! I could let them swim in the pool and ocean without worry. The pool is open 24 hours - so we were swimming from midnight to 2 am the night we arrived!
They had great restaurants, and it was in a great location. It was fun for all of us! |

It was only by chance that we ended up staying here. To cut a long story short, American Airlines sent our lugguage to Barbados, without us! So we had nothing for six days!
The hotel was beautiful, and very clean. They had very good food, entertainment and scenery, also. The casino was a real fabulous experience, with its staff working 24 hours!
The beach was stunning, with white sands and blue sea. But if you prefer the pool, that was just as good, especially the cocktails on offer in the pool bar. All the facilities - from the rooms to the gym -were fantastic.
When we finally got to Barbados, we wished we had stayed here instead! It was a "ten" out of "ten".
The only slight downfall we encountered was that we were the only English here. But all the staff spoke English more or less fluently!

My travel agent booked me at this hotel since I went on business for three days and ended up extending through the weekend for pleasure.
This was definitely not the typical Courtyard by Marriott. It was located right on the beach and it had a large casino! From the lobby bar I could see the ocean and enjoy live Latin music every night.
If you bring your laptop, you will enjoy their complimentary high speed internet access and WiFi service in the lobby, pool and beachside.
I will go back with my husband and kids in January. |
