Hotel El Convento is comfy and cozy. Visited: May 2005 Posted by isram I just got back from a three-night stay at El Convento. Everything here was excellent. Beginning with the very warm and friendly staff who welcomed me, the atmosphere made me feel like I belonged here. This would not be a place for those looking for the Ritz Carlton. But it is for those like me, who prefer a more intimate atmosphere. The food in the restaurants was very good, especially in the Tapas bar. The rooms were also very clean. For a great dinner, try The Parrot Club in town. The rooms were cold at some times at night. There was a vague smell that we couldnt exactly know what it was but it was horrible.
