When you have the option of staying in chain hotels or a cozy bed and breakfast, most would choose not to go the road less traveled.
Well, my friends and I dared to be different, and I must say that I was very pleased with my stay at the Coral Princess Inn.
The Coral Princess Inn was clean, friendly (especially Deborah), and not what I expected by some of the negative reviews. There was a Walgreens around the corner, and across the street of the Walgreens was the beach.
There was continental breakfast that included bananas, fruit cups, croissants, pastries, juice, coffee, hot chocolate, etc. There were restaurants within walking distance of the inn.
I loved the marble floors, the intimate pool and hot tub (on the rooftop). The bus top was close by where you can take bus B21 to San Juan and the mall for $.75 (instead of the $12 taxi).
I will always stay here when I return to Puerto Rico. I am making plans to return back in March 2008. |

I stayed at the Coral Princess Inn, and it was wonderful.
The rooms were clean, and the staff was excellent. Also, the showers were hot.
It is a great place if you plan on playing. It's in a great location, right on the beach.
Parking was a bit difficult, but not a concern. |

We stayed for two nights before we headed home. It was a very clean hotel - the lobby, rooms, bathrooms, patio, pool and hot tub!
Also, the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Our room was very tiny, but nicely furnished and clean. We had a great bathroom with a whirlpool tub. We loved it!
There was an excellent breakfast area, with nice seating in an outdoor courtyard. There was also a nice selection of breakfast foods.
The hot tub on the roof was nice and peacefu, tool. We didn't swim in the pool, but checked it out. It was cute and secluded in a side yard. It looked nice and clean, too.
Parking was about a block away, but was not too inconvienient.
The door was locked at night, so the building was very secure. Guests must be buzzed in.
In addition, it was very close to the bus line, so it was easy to get to Old San Juan for the day. It was close to several casinos for the evenings.
A few resaurants were close by - in walking distance.
Overall, it was a great place to stay for reasonable rates. I would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to my friends! |

This place was family-owned, and they were very helpful. The rooms were great, too. The staff here was wonderful and very nice.
In addition, if you are gay, this hotel is very much gay-freindly. I would never stay any place in Puerto Rico, but here. I love it, and it's a place you can call "home away from home". |
