It was nice but noisy. Visited: February 2009 Posted by shcje The rooms are beautiful, and the place is very secure. I would have liked to stay here again, but not after the following experiences. This place was located on the main drag in town and, unless you like to party until 1 am, you will not get any sleep. The street was shut down to traffic on weekends, and cars raced their engines, drunk people were screaming, and music was blaring until is all shut down after midnight. My final complaint was that the "managers" seemed to like to drink on the job. It was not a problem until they became so drunk after hours, they brought some prospective guests to our room at 11:45 pm, used their pass key and opened up our room door while we were sleeping! This was outrageous, and made us feel unsafe. I called the owner (whom we never saw during our stay) to complain that "someone" had just opened our room door and startled us awake. We came across Wildflowers Guesthouse in Puerto Rico. Upon speaking to the owner and reviewing the pictures online, we decided to go. Boy are we glad we went! The owner was as lovely in person as she was on the phone. The beach was just steps away. Also, there were cool little restaurants just steps away from where we stayed. There were even a few places for karaoke and dancing! The rooms were very spacious, and we had cable so if it rained, it was just as cool to stay in!
