This was the best vacation ever!Visited: April 2008

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Parador Costa Del Mar for five days, and four nights in late April 2008.
The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and the staff was knowledgable and helpful. The pictures tell no lies. It really was that beautiful - especially if you have one of the rooms facing the ocean.
The morning breakfast was delicious and quite unexpected. It was not the usual continental breakfast, but rather a full menu with varying selections.
The hotel did not have beach access; however, it was within walking distance. A car is necessary for this area, as public transportation really doesn't exist.
My only complaint was that the cable went out intermittently, but that is a problem throughout the island. Plus, who needs cable when you are in Paradise! I loved this place.

Hotel Torres exceeded expectations!Visited: May 2004

My boyfriend and I booked Hotel Torres for two nights, Memorial Day weekend. We are from Washington D.C. area, and wanted to get away on a quick, inexpensive trip to some quiet beaches.
I had never been to Puerto Rico before, but I have traveled extensively. My boyfriend had been to San Juan, and really wanted to go someplace quieter with cleaner, more secluded beaches.
We were very happy with the hotel. It was in a convenient location, and had a very elegent, yet laid-back atmosphere. We booked a suite, and we had a lovely, small balcony. The room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed.
The pool was very clean, and the staff was wonderful. Jorge (not sure if this is spelled correctly) was our bartender/waiter/host and we discovered he also ran the hotel- which was family owned. He was extremely helpful in giving us recommendations for activities on the south and east coast (we were spending two nights in La Parguera and two nights in Fajardo area).
Being a chef, the food was important to me. The mahi with garlic sauce was fabulous. For breakfast- we went across the street to a small market and had very good sandwiches and fresh fruit. Overall, we were very pleased and would visit again.

This hotel is a perfect place to stay if you're looking for luxury with a great price. It's beautifully decorated and has a great ocean view from its terraces and rooms.
One of the things I like the best is that it is located in "La Parguera" but it's away from all the noise from the 'poblado'. Also, the food is to die for - very creative and decorated.
You are also near everything - beaches, historic places, artesan kiosks, the phosphorescent bay, diving and snorkeling places... It's a great and unique experience.

Very nice looking parador with poor service. Air conditioning was sub par in the rooms and the furniture was old. The lobby, restaurant and pool area is infested with mosquitos, and the continental breakfast is next to nothing. It is the only hotel in San German, so unless you really need to stay in San German, you might want to look elsewhere.
