It was outstanding.......and our second trip to Petit St. Vincent! Visited: July 2005 |

We have had the pleasure of visiting Petit St. Vincent twice.....August, 2004 and July, 2005. We look forward to returning again as soon as we can.
The cottages are all beautiful and offer wonderful breezes and views. The views are best from the hilltop cottages, and the beach cottages offer beautiful blue water at your feet.
The food is always varied and delicious. No matter your food preference, you will find lots to eat on their menus. We typically enjoy breakfast in our cottage, and lunch and dinner in the restaurant. Their flag system functions very well, as we have always received requested items in a timely manner.
There is as much or as little as you might choose to do at the resort. The beaches are so beautiful that it is tempting to just sit on the beach and enjoy the beauty around you all day. However, if you enjoy lots of activity, there are many options to keep you entertained.
The staff arranged a day trip for us. It was lots of fun. Be sure to buy some of their local "Very Strong Rum." We also went scuba diving with Grenadines Dive (very professional and knowledgable), and went for a daysail with Jeff on Jambalaya. Jeff cooked beef and shrimp onboard for us!
The in-cottage massages were wonderful, as well. The beach barbecues were a blast, especially Saturday night with the steel drum band. The boat shop offered many water activities, we even saw a young boy learning to drive a small boat, and then being pulled on an innertube behind the boat later that day. Snorkeling around the entire island was outstanding....there were lobsters hiding in many places near the boathouse. The hike to the top of Marni Hill is also not to be missed, as there are incredible views.
Enough cannot be said about the staff here. Hazron, Roland, Bert, Dewayne, Michael, Elvis, Kimmi, Rufus and so many more went out of their way to make our stay pleasurable. They made every meal enjoyable, and entertained us with their island stories.
This was the most relaxing and peaceful vacation my husband and I have ever experienced. And it was also more beautiful than words or pictures could do justice. If you enjoy relaxation and quiet moments, this is a wonderful vacation. |

It's the perfect vacation spot . . . almost. Visited: August 2003 |

To sum it up, Petit St. Vincent Resort is phenomenal. The island is a paradise. The accommodations are very, very nice, although a tad outdated - but who cares? The staff is nice and fairly attentive. (Some are a lot friendlier than others.) Overall, we loved it and will, without a doubt, return.
However, there is one warning - not all villas are the same. All are the same price, but some are clearly superior to others. We were stuck in the only non-beach view villa on the island and were very unhappy with it. (In fact, the other guests who we spoke with, many of them return visitors, all knew that our Villa, #20, was the worst on the island.)
After some arm twisting (we had to actually speak to Haze and Lynn, the owners), they did switch us to a villa on the beach and it was beyond perfect. Although we are still having trouble accepting the fact that we had to pay the same price for the beach paradise and the inferior villa.
And do not listen to reviews saying there is nothing to do on the island. If you like the beach and water sports (snorkeling, kayaking, hobie cat sailing) and some light hiking and tennis, you will not be bored. Petit St. Vincent is the perfect vacation spot.

What a fabulous place - are five stars enough?
They provided great food, fantastic cocktails and a really relaxed atmosphere. That's not to mention the really spectacular accommodation in very private beachfront cottages.
It was a real treasure! I hope to return. |

Just got back from 5 nights at PSV and I'm glad to say that everything was great! The rainy season is just starting there, so things were a bit dry and we were impacted a little by storms, but overall the island and resort were in fine condition and provided us with some much needed relaxation and sun worship.
The food was mostly good, especially soups, and the cottages were great. We stayed in #22 first, but the evening storms were quite noisy there, so we switched over to #1 for the remaining three nights and couldn't have been happier.
Snorkeled off several beaches (but we preferred the West side) and also took a day-sail on Friendship II. Staff was accommodating, if not enthusiastic, but overall we were very impressed and will return - hopefully during winter next time. |

Beautiful, private resort. Visited: July 2000 |

This resort is one of the prettiest we've found in the Caribbean. It’s low-key and very private.
Our only disappointment was that nearly all of the coral around the island was dead, making snorkeling less than what we had expected. If that is not a problem for you, then I can highly recommend this resort. The atmosphere was very laid-back. We loved the dogs!

For our honeymoon, my wife and I spent a glorious week at PSV. It is hard to believe that we were actually there for a whole week. The island is wonderful. We had breakfast delivered to the room every morning and generally ate lunch and dinner in the dining room (excellent food for such a small, remote island).
The only problem was in getting to the island. We had to stay overnight in Barbados before being able to catch the charter flight to Union Island. This is just an extra travel day needed to get there from the east coast of the United States.

| Accommodations are probably like none you have enjoyed before in any resort. Instead of a hotel room you will have your own cottage with separate sitting room and bedroom, dressing room, bathroom and shower. Each bedroom has two queen-sized beds; each living room has two sofas that can... |
