Hotel Guanahani and Spa offers wonderful service, a great beach area and good food. I also enjoyed the spa. It was very relaxing here.

We experienced unparalleled service at a beautiful beach retreat Visited: May 2005 |

We stayed at the Guanahani and were absolutely blown away by the solicitous and friendly manner of virtually everyone on staff.
Le Guanahani's team sent us a bottle of champagne on arrival (unrequested and unexpected), delivered complimentary hotel logo t-shirts when we asked where we could purchase them, and at every stage asked how we were, if we needed anything, or were plainly cheerful when greeting us.
It added to the hospitable feeling of the resort, which was large enough to suffice for a four-day stay but intimate and secluded enough to keep us relaxed.
The only semi-gripe we had (if one) was the high cost of the meals, even before the exchange rate factor kicked in! EUR 25.00 for a hamburger at lunch is steep, though admittedly not out of step of other high-end resort prices on St. Barts.
In all, we had an excellent, surprisingly value-ridden stay at a beautiful resort with top quality service. It was very family friendly, and we'll return in several years with the kids in tow. |

Well but not the best of the island for a luxury resort... Visited: February 2004 |

One donot can say that the hotel is the best of St Barts, the service is
average but the personnel is smiling, the rooms should be renovated,
the restaurant of the evening bartholomeo is badly located. The quality of food is good. The service in room is catastrophic for this type of hotel. |

We started our honeymoon at this fabulous resort - we were lucky to have stayed in cottage #1. It was extremely private with our own swimming pool and the most amazing views.
The staff was fantastic - they seemed to know what we needed before we even asked! We enjoyed listening to Charles play his piano at night while enjoying an after dinner drink. Renting a car was a must. We can't wait to go back for our anniversary! |

While Guanahani does not come cheap, everything about this resort is absolutely top tier.
The staff is gracious and go out of their way to help make your stay perfect. The beach and pool are as nice as you will find anywhere, and the food is amazing.
We went on our honeymoon in the off-season which made it much more affordable and we could not imagine any better place to spend time unwinding after the wedding. We purchased the "Romance Package" which came with a half day sale on a private 35' boat, a cooking class with one of Guanahani's French trained chef's, a wine tasting, picnic, etc. I highly suggest it if you are coming here for a honeymoon.
All and all, Guanahani is first class. |

The Hotel Guanahani was a hotel full of beauty. The suite I stayed in for over 2 months was exceptional, and the private swimming pool was a nice asset.
There was also a computer in the reception area which meant one could be kept up-to-date with the goings on at home.
Overall, it was a marvelous stay and I am fully looking forward to a return in the near future. |

My husband and I went to Guanahani for our honeymoon and brought home the most wonderful memories.
Everything was beautiful, the food was incredible, the staff was very friendly, and the beach was one of the most beautiful beaches in all St. Barts.
Everything you will need for your getaway, you will find it in Guanahani. And if you are honeymooners, I highly recommend the special two-room suite, which has a private pool and it's perfect! If you can afford it, rent a Smart, it's fun! |

We stayed at Guanahani for our honeymoon last month. The place was absolutely beautiful, with probably the best beach on St Barth. The food was great, the service was great, and our room was a two-room suite, which was all that we could have wanted and more.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to get away from it all, yet be in the middle of everything. And I agree, a car rental is a must. (It came with our room--another plus!)

In our opinion is this resort one of the best of St. Barts. Friendly staff, a lot of different possibilities, gorgeous food made our stay there (10 days) exceptional. If you plan to stay there, a rental car is a useful thing. |

We have traveled extensively in the Caribbean for 20 years and found this resort to be top-shelf. The service, food and facilities are over the top. We are returning this December. |
