This is the first time my wife and I have been on an extended vacation, and we didn't want to return home.
St. Barts is an amazing island with great beaches and restaurants, but a highlight for us was Village St. Jean Hotel. Our cottage was beautiful, and had a to-die-for view of the bay of St. Jean.
Everyone on the hotel's staff was caring and helpful. They were really nice people dedicated to making our stay a great one. We can't wait to go back. |

We just got back from a stay at Village St Jean.
It was our first time to St. Barts and we struck gold with our accommodation. We stayed in a suite with a jacuzzi. The suite had an excellent balcony with a view to die for. It made our stay very relaxing.
The staff was friendly, informed, accommodating and pleasant. There was nothing more they could have done for us, from restaurant recommendations and reservations (try Massai - wow !) to recommending a boat charter agent, nothing was too much trouble, and all with a smile.
The rate for our room was very reasonable given the excellent accommodations.
Clearly, a lot of thought had been given as to how guests' stay could be made more pleasant, and this really shows.
We would definitely go back and I am sure we will. |

In a land of unbelievably expensive accommodations, Village St. Jean represented a tremendous value.
Our patio had one of the most beautiful views I have ever seen (and I have done a good deal of traveling). The grounds were gorgeous. It was a five-minute walk down the hill to a beautiful and quiet beach.
Plus, the Italian restuarant was excellent. We recommend Village St. Jean very strongly and will stay here when we return to St. Barts (hopefully soon!). |

We loved Village St. Jean Hotel. The standard rooms are simple but nice. The pool is wonderful. The views are great. The food very good! The owners are very helpful and kind. It’s in a great location, too!
We left our original hotel and booked the remainder of our time there after visiting friends that were staying at St. Jean Hotel.
The quiet Village St. Jean has a fabulous beach, great places to eat, great shops, bakery, grocery stores and more. The hotel is just up the hill from the beach. We would stay there again! Next time we'd rent one of the beautiful suites.
