This was a beautiful hotel, and they provided excellent service! Visited: May 2004 Posted by info7 This hotel was so beautiful---the rooms, the pool and the grounds, in general. The service was also excellent. The view from the pool was incredible and lounging at the pool was so relaxing. It was a small hotel - but not too small, and it was within a few minutes' drive to many places of interest--beaches, restaurants, etc. The pool was also great for children since half of it was very shallow and the other half, a normal depth pool overlooking the ocean. The only downside of the hotel, in my opinion, was that the restaurant was not that appealing. That's not to say it was not good, because I only had breakfast and room service from the restaurant. But it was very quiet at night and we wanted to go somewhere with more people - that's all. It could have been wonderful for all we know. Hotel Christopher is charming and romantic. Posted by karen We recently celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary at Hotel Christopher. The accommodations were simple yet elegant located in the "Beverly Hills" of St. Barths. We were aware that there was not a sand beach at the hotel and were wondering how we would like this, but, the pool was incredible! An outdoor bar and Cafe Mango were at our beckon call throughout the day. (by the way, many fabulous beaches were just a short drive away - with the rented car from the hotel). I must also mention the staff - tres magnifique! Each staff member from the front desk staff to the pool attendants were completely gracious and helpful, especially the Restaurant Manager! At our final dinner with Hotel Christopher, champagne and a special order creme brulee were "on the house". It was little touches like this that will bring us back.
