My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon in the fall of 2007. It was perfect for the two us! It was such a great value, too!
It was so close to everything. The pool was awesome with absolutely amazing views and gorgeous sunsets! It was not fancy, but the location and amenities were great.
If you are looking for a private pool and amazing views at a reasonable price, this is it! |

La Banane, St. Barth traveler review

We had a wonderful time at this charming hotel.
All of the staff were helpful, thoughtful, and pleasant. In particular, Sandrine and Laurent, who met us at the airport. By the time we left St. Barth, we felt we were leaving friends. They all provided much of the "charm" at this "Hotel de Charme". The team was an exceptional asset to this business.
We will have fond memories of our stay at La Banane for a long time and hope to be able to come back again soon. |

The Royal Palm Villa was nice. Visited: April 2007 |

This was a beautiful villa with an excellent location in Vitet. The ocean views were breathtaking. Also, the decor of the villa was very nice, clean and new.
The villa offered 110 volt and 220 volt plugs, wireless internet and free phone calls to the US.
The location was ten minutes from most beaches, with the town of L'Orient and its beach the closest. The pool was very nice, also.
St. Barth was generally very clean, and the beaches were pristine. In April, the beaches were not crowded at all - and the water was great. |

We could not have been happier anywhere else! This villa was in pristine condition with the most breathtaking views of the ocean and cove you could imagine.
The bed faced a huge window that was perfectly centered for the view. Everything was top of the line and well thought out. It was at the end of a cul de sac and down the side of hill, so it was ultra private.
There was a beautiful deck with lounge chairs, and a plunging pool right there - which made us force ourselves to leave and visit the beautiful beaches.
There was also a very popular restaurant/night club within walking distance - which is nice if you want to have a few drinks at night because those are some hairy roads to drive on at night! However, you would never know the place was there because it was far enough from the house that you can't see or hear it - but you can walk to it.
It was ideal. You could get to pretty much any beach on the island in less than 20 minutes. L'Orient and St. Jean were less than ten from the house. I would stay here again and again! |

This little hideaway was beautiful, and the service from the rental agency was terrific. They personally delivered an electric converter to us when ours failed to work.
We got maid service and fresh linens daily. The kitchen was great for eating breakfast at home with a view of the sea, and the porch offered direct access to both the beach as well as privacy.
We were very, very, very happy with this choice. |

This was one of the best places my husband and I have ever stayed. The view and the pool were absolutely outstanding! Also, it was very close to the main town of Gustavia, yet it was very private. |

La Baleine is the epitome of luxury and privacy. This is the perfect property for large families - or for couples traveling together.
There are three separate "cases" which allow everyone their privacy. This property has the best view on the island, with stunning sunset views and views of Saba and St. Kitts.
Also, Rosita is the perfect host and is the unofficial ambassadoress of the island. This is a perfect "ten"! |

We stayed a week at Sud Quest. It is in a perfect location, and ideal for a couple. It is very private and well maintained.
I wish the pool was heated - or at least a hot tub be made available. Ernest is a great host, and takes pride in his villa. |

My husband and I, and our three children stayed at this villa in April 2006. It had it all!
The views and sunsets from the patio were the best you will find on the island. I couldn't wait to wake up every morning. It had all the amenities we could want - plus we had our privacy. It was also very well maintained, and the villa manager was very helpful with any questions or requests. |

The island was fantastic. It was safe, beautiful, and secluded. The house was so well equipped! It was an amazing retreat.
We will go back! This travel agency is incredible. We had arrival issues, and one phone call from a foreign country had all of our things taken care of - rental car, pickup at different arrival venue, escort to house . . . wonderful service and people! |

Etoile de Mer Villa is an idylic, quiet sanctuary with a beautiful view. Visited: May 2006 |

Etoile de Mer is one of the best villas we have stayed at in St. Barts. The views are spectacular with a 180 degree view of the island. It is very tranquil and very comfortable.
The furniture and ambience are second to none, with cooling breezes to take the edge off the hot sun. They also have a great pool to dive into every 20 minutes.
You couldn't want a nicer place. It is highly recommended! |

Okai Billa Beach is a slice of heaven! Visited: February 2006 |

Our entire family - consisting of eight adults, five children and two au pairs - thoroughly enjoyed our ten- day stay at Okai Beach. We rented the villa and one of the cottages.
The place was gorgeous! There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The rooms and bathrooms were lovely - and very comfortable.
The nicest feature of the villa - was the manager, Patricia! She made the whole process easy and enjoyable. She helped us with cribs and other baby items, rental cars, dinner reservations, a snorkeling day and so on. She knows the ins and outs of the island and every recommendation was a winner.
We highly recommend Okai Beach. We plan to return next year and rent the villa and both cottages. |

We have stayed at Le P'tit Morne every November for 15 years on visits lasting from 10 to 14 days.
We were attracted first by the quiet location, the incredible view and reasonable rates. Now, we return for the familiar setting and the wonderful family and staff who work there. We also enjoy the cool breezes that make air-conditioning unnecessary.
Most of the apartments have been upgraded in the last couple of years, and the one we rent is now very nice. We take the package that includes the rental car and think we have the best value on the island. |

It is beautiful, but not romantic. Visited: May 2004 |

For sure the hotel is very beautiful, and the beach is just one of the best of the island. But it is not very quiet. There is always lounge music at the swimming pool.
Also, the restaurant can get very noisy with some groups, and the beautiful ocean rooms lack very much privacy.
In addition, the service is also very hip and it feels too much like home - which is too bad! |

La Banane, St. Barth traveler review
This was a cool place to stay. Visited: July 2005 |

This small, charming, unique hotel was very modern. The semi-outdoor shower was wonderful. The mosquito net that covered the four poster bed was very romantic - however, the mosquitoes were not.
The welcome drink was a nice touch. The hosts were very friendly and hospitable. The toiletries and linens were upscale. I loved the thick robes and towels with tassels.
The individual cottages were surrounded by tropical gardens and were very shaded, which was absolutely beautiful. But be prepared for the mosquitoes.
The free breakfast consisted of basic pastries, juice and coffee. I really did love this place, and would stay here again. |

This hotel was very nice. The staff was nice and very accommodating. They even let us check in at 9:00 a.m., and gave us a free bottle of water, a free drink at the beach bar, and beach towels.
The rooms were nice, clean and a good size.
The hotel was right on beautiful St. Jean Beach. Every room at this hotel was right on the beach.
I do not have any complaints about the hotel, and I plan to return to this wonderful island and hotel! |

End of the Rainbow! Visited: May 2005 |

I recently visited St. Barts for the 3rd time in the past year and its really the end of the rainbow! I Had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Carl Gustaf and it is truly one of the best hotels in the world! The staff is pleasant and willing to go out of their way for a question or assistance. The sunset over the harbour while sipping your favorite cocktail is a daily event and cannot be missed!, it is breath taking! The food at the hotel is the best you will taste in your life! Rooms are clean, well kept and decorated. Continental breakfast on your private patio is nice then jump in your private plunge pool, doesnt get much better than this!,Donald Trump would be happy! Shell beach is walking distance and great for snorkling. Shopping in the Harbour is down the hill, great walking down but a task walking back up, so take your jeep! St. Barts is a little pricey due to the exchange on the euro but the euro has fallen and makes this gem of a island more affordable! If you are thinking of it just go! |
