St. Kitts Marriott is a true gem. Visited: March 2004 Posted by mcalkins The Marriott in St. Kitts was wonderful. The resort had three large and very clean pools. The seafood restaurant's food was spactacular, as were the other restaurants at the hotel. The only downside was that there was a dripping noise in our room that was never fixed. Other than that, our room was kept very clean by the daily maid service. Also, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The beach was beautiful, but a little too rough for swimming. Marriott should be ashamed... Visited: March 2004 Posted by paularyb I just returned from a 3 night stay March 6-9, 2004 and I would not recommend this property. The pool was cold, the jacuzzi was cold, the resturant service was awful ( 1 hr 47 minutes to receive the main course at the Steakhouse Grille due to a few employees did not show up for work), we asked 3 different servers for 1 iced-tea refill and 1 coke refill and never received it. The landscape is half dead, and my linens were not changed on the 2nd night. The food is so-so and the hotel seems to run out of food items. The Keys Cigar Bar service also lacks; I felt bad to interrupt the bartenders' Domino game to ask for the check. The Pizza Shack was good. Each room had a personal safe (you program the code), a nice touch. I never passed a staff member who didn't speak - very friendly! There were three huge pools, one with the pool bar, very nice! The restaurants were delicious. There was a casino right in the hotel and the ocean was right there! Visited: December 2003 Posted by bobrxlex I just back from the Marriott. Sure, it is very large, but if you want comfort and class, this is the place. If not, go to one of the smaller hotels. The Marriott is new, with beautiful rooms, great food, a nice beach, fantastic pools and access to the new golf course. This is the best place to stay in St. Kitts. Visited: August 2003 Posted by dazd05 My wife and I stayed here for part of our honeymoon. Once you have stayed here, you are spoiled in that you do not want to stay anywhere else.
