| Q: My fiance and I are planning to go to St. Lucia for 10 days in January of 2010...The only thing is we cannot decide where to stay!? We are willing to spending 5-6 K on our accomodations but everywhere has good and bad reviews (naturally). This is what we are looking for: beautiful accomodations/great staff, we very much enjoy high quality food/wine, we are very sociable and I think we have both agreed that if we went to a place like Jade Mountain, etc, we would feel like we would need to spend adequate of time in our room, which we would probably be bored of doing after 2 days. Also, when looking at a Sandals option, don't know if that is too "cheesy" and commercialized for us. Any suggestions??? We are a little frustrated as we just can't make up our minds!!! | Q: Hello, About 5 years ago, my fiance and I got engaged while we were on vacation with friends. We stayed at an All-Inclusive resort (Splash) I think. As we were eating at Smugglers Haven (I believe) we strayed away from the restaurant and wandered through a beautiful trail when we came upon an old chapel. We walked out onto a small dock from the chapel that was over the water. I have been trying for 5 years to find out the name of this no-name chapel that hosted the most wonderful time in my life (my proposal). We are thinking of going back there again to marry. Can you help me? Thanks Soon to be married. Posted by: rufusbear1 at 01/12/2009 2:04am Last answer: 01/15/2009 7:30pm |

| Q: Hello, My husband recently got a job at Vieux Fort, St Lucia. So we will be looking to move to SL by August. Do let us know how the lifestyle of SL is and also how far is Rodney Bay from Vieux Fort. Also, how is expensive is it to rent houses there on long term basis. Basically we would like an over view on life at SL and not just as a tourist destination cause we are gonna stay there and not just visit. Thanks!! Looking forward to expert advice.
