Q: Hello,

My husband recently got a job at Vieux Fort, St Lucia. So we will be looking to move to SL by August. Do let us know how the lifestyle of SL is and also how far is Rodney Bay from Vieux Fort. Also, how is expensive is it to rent houses there on long term basis. Basically we would like an over view on life at SL and not just as a tourist destination cause we are gonna stay there and not just visit.

Thanks!! Looking forward to expert advice.

Q: What is the best way to get around St. Lucia? We are flying into Vieux Fort, and staying at The Village Inn and Spa. Is rental car the best way to get to the inn from the airport? Also, we'd like to see the island, and wonder what kind of vehicle you would recommend.

Q: Hello! We are planning to Stay in St. Lucia in late July of this year. We may bring our children ages 12,17 and 20. If we do bring them, what would be a good property that has lots to do as far as excursions, water sports, adventure etc. If we do not bring them, what do you suggest for a romantic week. We have been to Beaches Turks and Caicos and The Bimini Bay Beach Resort so the clear blue water is very appealing to us with Snorkelling and diving avail. With kids all inclusive would be great, without.. we are flexible!! Thanks so much!! God bless!! Shelby

Q: What a great website! I am planning a surprise weekend for my husband, and would love to travel to St. Lucia. Having never been to the Caribbean, I am somewhat overwhelmed by all the information there is out there! We prefer small hotels/B&Bs and I'm wondering if there's one you would recommend in/around Soufriere. Is Soufriere convenient to the International Airport, or will I need to drive? Most importantly, we want to relax, and I'm wondering if it's better to be on the beach or up in the hills? I'd like to take him sailing, too, so your recommendations for how best to do that would be great. Thank you!
