We weren't impressed with the water park. Visited: February 2009 Posted by rpu9 We just returned from our trip to St. Lucia. The main reason we picked the Coconut Bay Resort was because of their Lazy River. I strongly recommend that you do not stay here. You ride the Lazy River on tubes, but this resort had no adult tubes. They only had children's tubes. That meant that an adult could not sit in the tube without toppling over. The tube hole was too small to sink your rear end down it, and consequently an adult is top heavy. The excuse they gave for having no adult tubes was that kids had deflated them. I complained twice to management and was "yessed" to death - as if action would be taken. How hard is it to buy a few adult tubes? Visited: January 2009 Posted by watsoam I just got back from St. Lucia and Coconut Bay Resort. The staff was very nice. They had entertainment each night, and the resort was large and beautiful. The disappointment was our room. It felt very moist at all times, and smelled very musty. Our bathroom had a leaky toilet, and the mirror frame was cracked all around it. There was no tub (which I didn't care), but the shower was very small. We also had to turn off the water a lot during our showers due to the bottom filling up and flooding the bathroom.
