Rare is one of the few steakhouses in St. Maarten where you will find top quality USDA prime, dry aged steaks – from 12 oz filet mignons, to 28 oz porterhouses – a must for those power eating moguls who want to capture the essence of the divine bovine.
You can change it up a bit by adding things like a Gorgonzola crust, Seared foie gras with shallot marmalade, or a rock shrimp, peppercorn, and garlic butter saute to your steak.
Some non-red meat options include smoked jalapeno and goat cheese crusted chicken breast with pico de gallo, black beans and rice, and fried plantain. They also serve sesame seed crusted sashimi grade tuna with wasabi mash, pumpkin slaw, and pomegranate glaze, among other items.
