Q: Young couple going to St Maarten/Martin on a budget. We're wondering if an all inclusive resort is worth the extra cost for meals and activities. Or is it more cost effective to eat locally and plan our own activities?

| A: If you eat three meals a day you will save money with an all-inclusive, but you will not get a good of meals if you ventured to restaurants outside the resort. All-inclusive usually means buffets. |
