Q: Can anyone comment on the Holland House? I'm a bit concerned that it'll be too crowded and loud..being in town and all. Any other similarly priced suggestions on Dutch side..somewhere near a nice beach..not too far from nightlife, but not too close. I'll have a car. Thanks so much... Answer

A: Holland House just has 54 rooms so I do not think it will feel over crowded. It is NOT a luxury hotel, so if that is what you are expecting, try some place else. For a value hotel it is fine and has been remodeled. I hear the kitchettes have been removed from the rooms with the remodel. It also should not bee too loud because after the shops close (5 pm) Philipsburg become a ghost town.
