It is clean and tidy. Visited: April 2008

The Belair Beach Hotel is clean and tidy. It's 40 years old, but is well maintained.

The service is very good, and the resturant is adequate for what it is .. a beach restaurant! Also, the beach here is beautful, and the hotel staff keeps it clean and neat.

Jodi's Place, which is a little store on the property, is high priced. However, it's only game in town.

Good friends of ours invited us to stay with them here for a week.

The staff was great, and the cafe had good food.

We never had such a relaxing vacation. We enjoyed it so much that we are now owners. I can't wait to go back!

Belair Beach Hotel offers great views and good service. Visited: February 2006

This is a good place to stay in St. Martin.

The best features are daily maid service; on-site management; reserved beach chairs and umbrellas; and close proximity to shopping.

This is our favorite vacation spot. Visited: March 2004

We have been back to Belair for eight straight years. We love the friendly atmosphere. We appreciate the maid service every morning.

Also, the view from the patio is exceptional, we love watching the cruise ships go by in the morning and the evening.

We would highly recommend the Belair for a quiet getaway!

Belair boasts a nice location in a scenic area. Visited: July 2003

I stayed at the Belaire with some close friends. All the rooms have a wonderful view of the scenic ocean. The beach provides for nice walks and a good area for swimming. There are lots of shells for those liking to collect. Also, the Belaire is within a good healthy walking distance of Phillipiburg.

The only negative is the staff in the Boardwalk Cafe being not overly friendly or helpful. The Belaire staff is extremely courteous and friendly and help create a family atmosphere here.

I would definitely recommend the Monday night BBQ. The chicken and ribs are very tasty as I went up four times for the ribs, not to mention the corn and salads. Compliments again to the staff of the Belaire.

I own one of the units here and have been back seven times at different times of the year. The staff is always great, we have wonderful views, and love the daily maid service. Also, the food at Sugar Bird Cafe is great. I highly recommend it.

Belair Beach was very nice. Visited: October 2002
Posted by rondineff
I thought that the Belair Beach Hotel was very nice and the beach was even better with the palm trees.

But the most stunning view was the first time I saw the island Saba one morning. It was about 25 miles off the beach and was very tall. Also, I could see the islands of St. Eustatius and St. Kitts.

I can't wait to go back.

Belair Beach offers huge, beautiful rooms. Visited: July 2002
Posted by karchcna
Belair provides absolutely big beautiful rooms that all have a great view of the ocean. They also have huge glass windows with sliding doors that open so you can hear and see the ocean (just 25 yards away).

The rooms are clean, bright and cheerful, with comfortable beds, a nicely equipped kitchens and two tvs. A small pool and bar are also a nice touch.

We will return to this wonderful spot.

An afffordable resort - a very pleasant and wonderful experience. Visited: July 2002

We stayed in a two-bedroom suite that was quite accommodating with a great ocean view. Also, the staff was all friendly and quite accommodating.

The beach was beautiful, and the chairs and umbrella were complimentary. The water was great. However, I suggest wearing rubbber shoes because there was a small stretch of broken pieces of shells that ran along the coastline.

The food at the Sugar Bird was excellent. The service was a bit slow, but just about everywhere we ate it was the same. It was a great resort with very friendly employees.

Our stay at Belaire Beach hotel was great!

The rooms were clean, and the staff was very friendly. The view from the room balcony was impressive! They had a delightful and very informative person at the activities desk.

Don't miss the Sunday morning orientation, this helped us plan our whole week. We would love to visit St. Maarten and the Belair Beach Hotel again.

Thank you!

We loved it.

We honeymooned here and now will go back for every anniversary. The staff saw to all of our needs and went out of their way to make our week very special.

The view from the room was breathtaking. The rooms were also clean and conveniently equipped.

A special holiday Visited: June 2001

Staying at the Belair was a great experience. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I think they all should all be employees of the month.

The snorkeling trip was an experience that can’t be outdone. Our holiday was such a great success.

Very nice! Visited: September 2000

The resort has very nice rooms, excellent housekeeping, and extremely nice security guards. My only complaint is that the on-site restaurant is a little pricey. The store at the resort has everything, and Lorna, at the Activities Desk, is very courteous and always more than helpful.
