Oleander, Pelican Key (Dutch side) traveler review

This is the best villa. Visited: March 2008

I must say we've never stayed in a villa before, but it was the greatest.

We had the villa stocked with food. It had everything we needed, and the housekeeper, Ivy, was the best.

Having a bathroom for every bedroom was even better. I loved having our own pool, too. We had lots of privacy.

I highly recommend the Oleander!

Oleander, Pelican Key (Dutch side) traveler review

Oleander is all that is Caribbean-beach, pool, sunset, and comfort. Visited: March 2006

The villa design was the best. We were eight guests who found the layout of Oleander perfect. It allowed for privacy as well as group activites with Ensuite bathrooms and large pool deck right on the beach with sunset view and sight of the cruise ships moving in and out of Phillipsburg.

The new furniture was great, and the beds were especially wonderful - all kings and we all slept great! The kitchen was fully equipped, and Ivy, the housekeeper, was terrific.

There were some rocks on beach, but there was still great swimming beyond them. They created interesting tidal pools with sea life.

I personally wouldn't take young walking children because the pool and slippery deck were not gated. They could tumble onto the beach and rocks.
