I didn't stay at the hotel overnight. However, if the restaurant quality and service is anything to go by, it must be top notch.
We had dinner overlooking the harbour, and the food was divine. I recommend trying the Sashimi. This was the perfect setting for that romantic dinner for two.
We took a stroll along the seawall (literally ten steps away) following the meal, and there are magnificent views across the harbour to the lights of the waterfront. You can just sit and relax and take in the mood that is Samoa. It is highly recommended.

This is a house on a mountainside that overlooks the mountains on the French Side and ocean below.
It is not a hotel. Rather, it is a house with character and great staff. The view and the privacy are sublime. Plus, you are on St. Maarten!

Le Grand Vigie boasts a view of the ocean, beaches and hillsides; and pool, gardens, multiple levels of stately elegance.
We felt like we were in heaven - and up the steep mountainside we were close. We were just minutes from the beach. We had a satisfactory kitchen that was cleaned each day.
It was a heavenly vacation spot for our extended family. We also enjoyed the formal living room.
