Q: Thanks for the answer about postage stamps; is there a way to contact the post offices to see if I can purchase a few stamps? Or postmarked stamps? I have looked on eBay but can't find any.

Q: I am thinking of St. Martin for my honeymoon. Considering the French side to stay on because I hear its quieter, not as touristy but we can get to the Dutch side relatively easily for when we want the nightlife, etc. My questions is even if St. Martin is for us. I have only been to 2 Carribean island, Dominican Rep. and Bermuda. Bermuda was wonderful and I get the feeling that much closer to how St. Martin is but I really loved Dominican Republic in the way that I felt like I was AWAY from home. Of course, pristine beaches on any island but I like that Island feel, with open air lobbys, terracata style floors in the rooms. Low rise buildings (although I DO NOT want a boutique hotel). I actually do like large hotels and dont mind some families but I dont want a resort so "Americanized". My only concern with St. Martin is that it seems not as "Carrbiean" and "Island feeling".
If you understand what I am saying, then wonderful and if you could be of any help, that would be great. Recommendations for places that you feel would suite our tastes would be GREAT! tHANK YOU SO MUCH

Q: My fiance (then wife) will be travelling to St. Martin on our honeymoon in May. We are staying for 5 nights at La Samanna. I have no issue with splurging on the high room rates there because I want to take her somewhere special, but I am concerned about the food. I've read numerous reviews about how insanely overpriced the food is. Any recommendations? Is food reasonably priced elsewhere on the island? Should I rent a vehicle for the week? Your help is appreciated.
