Q: We will be staying from July 7-14,2007 at the Pelican Resort Club in St. Maarten----what can anyone out there offer as to the condition of the resort/things to do there/the casino at the resort,etc. Also there will be at least one,possibly two 18 year olds with us---good place for them to be????thanks for any help/advice..... | A: -Lots of great reviews for this property--clean accommodations, well-kept grounds, friendly staff, great pools, etc. Kitchens inside the rooms have everything you'll need. Great beach--safe for swimming and snorkeling. Lots of dining options within the resort and nearby on the island. Beautiful island, great location. Good feedback re. the on-site Casino, the Booze-cruise that leaves directly from the resort and the cocktail party afterward with vendors, live band and free drinks (might be fun for your 18-year olds, too). And great burgers sold at The Bar on the Beach! |
