Q: i am a medical student from Guyana and i would like to pay cash on my arrival at st.martin as i do not hve credit card to transfer the money for the reservation.
Please how do i get an hotel or guest house that will do the booking/reservation for me and i will pay cash on my arrival.as astudent the rates should be between $50 -$60 us dollar Answer

| A: This probably depends upon the time of year you are traveling. During off-season you can probably pay cash upon arrival because there is space available. During a busy time I think you will be unlikely to find anyone willing to hold you a room based with no deposit. If you have a bank account (which you probably do) you can get a debit card (Visa or MasterCard), so no one will believe you are not able to put down a deposit. |
