We loved Baciata Dal Sole. Visited: July 2008 Posted by cshcdi Our family of eight adults just got back from a seven-night stay here. It was one of the nicest villas we have visited, and we have been on nine Caribbean villa vacations. The house was extremely well appointed with nice furniture, great beds, and the best gourmet kitchen stocked with anything you might need to make a great meal. It also had great air conditioning in the bedrooms and in the kitchen (none in living area). The pool was always clean, too. The beach was beautiful, but was not really a swimming beach area. It had rocks, so it was not real safe to swim right in front of the house. However, it was only a five-minute walk on the beach to get to a good swimming area. The only negative, was we really could not see the ocean from the veranda unless we stood up. They had privacy bushes growing that prevented a good view. It provided more privacy, but it took away from the "feel" of oceanfront property. The advertised pictures showed it to be much lower growth. Hopefully, they will clear it down just a little. Other than that, it was perfect. The only surprise we had, was the property owners had two wonderful dogs. We really enjoyed them, but if you don't like dogs, you might want to check to see if they are there.
