Visited: March 2002 Posted by nick We stayed at the Sol Hotel in March 2002 and found it to be the loveliest hotel in the Caribbean. The web site did the hotel perfect justice and the owners were charming and incredibly welcoming and helpful. The hotel was set in the quiet and picturesque Oyster Pond. The rooms were charming and lovely, the gardens were well maintained and the pool looked out over the harbor. There was no TV, bar or restaurant - just a charming atmosphere that was so relaxing. Breakfast on your own balcony was a must. It was a perfect way to start the day! It was very good value for money.
