4.0 stars A great time was had by all! Visited: December 2006

Decided to take a "girlfriend" vacation with myself, my 82-year-old mother and her two sisters (in their 70s), and a girlfriend and her 82-year-old mother!

We rented #7 and #6. I thought #7 had the best view, with a good view from #6. Both were newly and nicely furnished both with identical designer kitchens including an oven, stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven, a dishwashwaser and a fridge. We cooked in several times, and could fit six people comfortably around one table.

The view from the upstairs window was breathtaking. Both rooms had hairdryers, an iron and ironing boards, and beach towels. They were two-bedroom, two-bath rooms. Each bedroom had a king-sized bed, and the view from the upstairs bedrooms was fantastic.

It was remote and quiet The beach could be choppy with an undertow, but it was perfect for beachcombing. Both had stairs that could be a problem for not so nimble elderly - but no problem for younger guests.

There was also a private pool, and manager was on the premises. We will definitely return.

3.0 stars It was beautiful, but we had a bad experience. Visited: November 2005

Guana Bay Villas were absolutely beautiful. There was a private pool, a private beach, and it was quiet and the villa was immaculate.

However, our car was stolen in front of the place. It was way out of the way of everything. Would I go back? No.

4.0 stars A quiet, cozy getaway by the hypnotic roar of the surf. Visited: April 2003

I love this place! It is away from all the bustle of the commercial side of the island, while still very convenient to it all.

The Jazz Club Restaurant next to the villas is highly recommended. Try their Atlantic King Crab. They also offer all-you-can-eat on Saturday night. It is way better than Alaskan King Crab....much sweeter!

Ask for Max at the Villas if you need any help or information. He's a great guy!

3.0 stars This is just short of paradise. Visited: January 2003

The Guana Bay Beach Villas provided a lovely beach with steady waves for body surfing. It was pretty isolated and ideal for a quiet, contemplative vacation. The local bar ( Jazz room) was available, but I didn't try it. Although others staying here did and seemed to survive. It is not lively or for the adventurous, but secluded and exotic.
