	I have stayed at other hotels. When I stayed here, I never wanted to stay at any other place on the island. The staff is wonderful, and the accommodations are very nice and clean. Some even come with kitchens. I also like the fact that it is close to downtown, and you can walk anywhere.

	I enjoyed a four-night stay at the Gingerbread. The location was in town which meant hearing music from the adjoining bars/restaurants until about 11:00 p.m every night. So bring your earplugs if you want to stay in town and sleep early. Also, mosquitos were in abundance in the hotel rooms. Bequia is a great little island, though. I loved it.

	My father and I stayed at the Gingerbread recently and we found it quaint, friendly, and very pleasant. The restaurant and cafe were both excellent. The private patios and balconies overlooked a well manicured garden and the entire harbor. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Only one word of warning, no matter where you stay on the island, bring your own insect repelant.
