Personalised Service and Luxury!! Visited: March 2009 |

| A fantastic hidden gem. The Ocean Suites are tastefully furnished with stunning Caribbean Antiques and splashes of sophisticated colour- but still with all the modern luxuries of AC, free wireless and luxury spacious bathrooms. Although still awaiting a main pool and reception area- the hotel is small and family run, intimate and cosy. Great food, great service! Definitely going back! |

I suggest this hiking guide for La Soufriere Volcano. |
|
| Posted by madhiker | |
| I contacted Richmond Vale Hiking Center on the north leeward side of the island to do a hike up the volcano. They were extremely friendly, and the price was reasonable. I would highly recommend them for their services, as I wouldn't want to hike up there alone. I know they do other hikes in the area as well, like to Trinity Falls. They do hikes with horses as well. I didn't sleep there, but they have very low-cost rooms that is good on a backpacker's budget. |

This is a great place to stay for Vincy Mas. Visited: July 2009 |

| This is a very comfortable stay while on the island for Vincy Mas. It's in a nice neighborhood, and very close to airport (as well as the town). It offers a great view from the balcony and dining area. Bequia can be seen from the balconies, too. There is also a beach within walking distance. The staff is very warm and welcoming. I am looking forward to my next stay here! Thanks to Michael for providing a great time here. |

It was incredible. Visited: August 2008 |

| Petit St. Vincent was without a doubt, the most incredible vacation my wife and I have ever taken. The island staff was there to greet us after our long flight with drinks and a car to take us to our cottage. The rooms were very nice and cozy, although no air conditioning in August was a bit warm. We loved the fact that you could have all the privacy you could want or interaction at the restaurant and bar. There are plenty of activities, other than relaxation, such as snorkeling, tennis, kayaking, sailing and hiking. The main attraction for us was the day trip on the Windward Schooner. The only negative was that there was no air conditioning, but fans were provided. Also, there was lots of coral and rock just off the beach. They provided water shoes upon arrival, and some cottages had less coral on their beach access than others. We can't wait to go back. |

| The Richview Guesthouse possesses a clean, warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff is dedicated and willing to go the extra mile to make sure the guests are comfortable. Michael is the consumate host. I don't know how he does it, but he makes sure all of his guests are transported to and from their various destination, and their needs are taken care of. I highly recommend the Richview as your choice of accommodation. |

It was alright. The rooms were clean. Visited: March 2009 |

| It was alright - apart from the fact it was right next door was a prison, and if you walked by, you could hear people screaming. Also, there was a huge street party going on, and a dark alley right outside our window. As we looked outside, we got a great view of homeless people, and random folks coming through yelling and urinating in the street. There was also a man slamming his door late at night. When we looked outside, he was standing there in a towel. It was not what I wanted to see just before I went to sleep. The architecture was great. The rooms were pleasant and simple. Also, the breakfast was good. However, there was not a lot of food per person. There was no room service, either. Finally, the smell of the streets outside permeated most of the inside of the hotel. Otherwise, it was quite pleasant. |

This is the best place to stay in St. Vincent. Visited: February 2009 |

| My husband and I celebrated our second wedding anniversary at Richview Apartment Hotel. It was a breathtaking experience for us. We enjoyed our entire stay. It is a memory which will stay with us forever. We arrived Friday night, and Michael (the owner) was there to pick us up at the airport in his Safari-looking jeep. Our first impression of Michael was that he was very warm, kind and friendly. He took us to our room - which was very spacious and homey. The overall view of the building was all about its unique, yet colonial style. In the morning, we enjoyed the view out on the balcony of our room. The Grenadine Island, known as Bequia Island, could be seen through an immense mass of water. It was a very beautiful sight. There was a beach down the street from Richview, and the airport was about three minutes away. As we sat outside, we saw several aircrafts landing. After having a Caribbean Style breakfast, Michael took us down to the capital Kingstown. The shopping was fairly good, and the people are very friendly. Richview was located between the airport and Kingstown. It was very convenient. After speaking with the friendly staff at the hotel, Michael dropped us at the port where we took the ferry to go to Bequia Island. It took us one hour to get to Bequia Island. The beaches had white sand, and the water was very appealing. Michael also took us sightseeing to Fort Charlotte and the lighthouse. He also took us to the country side of St. Vincent, and to the Montreal Gardens. When we left, Michael even dropped us off at the airport - even though our flight was 6:00 am. That's one nice quality about Michael, he was always willing to assist in any way he could. His staff was quite accommodating. When we returned home to Trinidad, we certainly missed the staff at Richview, and hope to see them again. May God bless Michael and his staff at Richview. |

This was a great girlfriends getaway. Visited: February 2008 |

| My best friend and I ran away from our families for a short vacation. We decided to spend two days in Bequia, and we stayed at the Frangipani. We were delightfully suprised, but you must stay in the room at the top that have the air conditioning. I didn't think the other accommodations were as good. The room was beautiful, and the AC was great. The terrace was wonderful. There were no mosquitoes in the room, but in the restaurant and bar had plenty. The barbeque was overpriced, but you are on vacation, and most things are. You must have the Key Lime pie. It was the best in the world. |

It was almost good. Visited: July 2008 |

| My family and I stayed here while attending a wedding in Bequia. I would have easily given it a four-star rating, except for the mosquitoes. They were numerous, the nets had so many holes. The children were covered with bites. Also, my kids were afraid fo dogs, and there were a few on the property. They did not belong to anyone at the property. Cilla was the best host, and did her best to get rid of the dogs, which kept the children from going to the pool. |

| My boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience at Richview. It was a clean, comfortable, and relaxing home away from home. The owner, Michael, and all his staff were wonderful, making sure that we enjoyed our first trip to St. Vincent. We will definitely go back again, and recommend it to anybody visiting SVG. Thanks Michael! |

Villa Lodge was a nice place to be. Visited: September 2008 |

| The view from the hotel room was absolutely wonderful. The staff was friendly and willing to help with everything. The rooms were big and clean, the food was good, and there was a beautiful quiet beach nearby where you can swim in blue warm water. It was paradise. The staff and the hotel manager, with their personal approach, make you feel good being here. |

I enjoyed my 70th birthday celebration here. Visited: June 2008 |

| I celebrated my 70th birthday with my family here. We had a total of 11 people - ranging from 2 to 70. The accommodations were great, and the staff was wonderful. The house manager, Arlene Connell, was most accommodating. My only complaint was the food. However, it didn't seem like there was any great food on island. Except for that, I would most highly recommend Spring House. |

| if you are going to be a successful site with accurate information, al least make it formal! there are many gramatical errors as well as spelling. please correct. you should also have at least SOME pictures of restaurants available due to the nature that some children need photos for reports. WhereToStay.com reply: Thanks for you comments. By allowing our readers to post information, it does open us up to having some errors on the site until our editors have a chance to review them. BTW, I think you meant "at least" and you misspelled grammatical. |

This is a very special place! Visited: November 2007 |

| We stayed here in November 2007 for three nights, and what a delight. The food was exceptional, and the staff was very attentive and so friendly. We had a sea view room with spectacular views over Young Island and the sea. However, the rooms were in need of updating. They were clean, comfortable and had everything we needed, though. It was a great base to explore from and we are looking forward to coming back again. |

We stopped by here during a cruise. Visited: December 2007 |
|
| Posted by samanthagardier | |
| I have just returned from a cruise, and one of our stops was St. Vincent. We decided to relax, and we were advised we could go to Beach Comber to use the pool and facilities. The hotel looked very pleasant. The pool was small, and there were only a couple of sun beds. Most people in the restaurant area were from the cruse ship, and they were complaining about the service. The staff was extremely slow, and did not put themselves out to calm customers who were complaining about waiting up to an hour for food. It really was a joke. They did not write down who ordered what, so as the food came out, they gave the food out on memory - which was not always right. It was a nice hotel, but they need to sort the staff and food service issues out. In the end, people were ordering their taxis to go back to the ship. |

Don't waste your money, and don't complain! Visited: June 2007 |

| When we had the nerve to even try and complain about our stay, the owners/management of this place were bloody rude and threatened to try and strand us on the island. The Firefly Mustique claims a "relaxed and friendly house party atmosphere"! We booked with them on the understanding that our holiday would be perfect - and at just under $1,000 per day, we expected perfection. The hotel staff had been instructed to call guests by their names, presumably to personalize the service. This backfired, it might have been welcoming if they had not called each of us by the other's surname. They had an email with our correct names for the local air ticket, so there was no excuse for this. They would often only say 'hello' to the male half of a couple even if both of us were there, as if somehow the man was more important. This was particularly insulting and old fashioned. We had gone to celebrate an anniversary, and had told them we wanted privacy that day. At eleven o'clock they were banging on the door and calling to us. Later, they claimed that we had been rude to them over this intrusion into our privacy. We expected a casual, relaxed, and friendly atmosphere. This was not the case. For most of the day, the bar was dead quiet with the occasional couple playing the sort of board games you might have resorted to during a power cut. However, at about 7:00 pm most nights, loud cries of " whoop , whoop " , " yeaahh" and shrieking girly laughter could be heard from some distance away. It sounded like they were having the sort of drinking games usually associated with students or sports clubs - good for bar profits but hardly sophisticated. We expected in such a place that nothing would be too much trouble, yet when we asked for a small problem to be solved (i.e. for some apparently clean, but stinking bed linen to be changed), this was met with resentment and bad feeling. On departure, the owners were unnecessarily verbally abusive and rude, which completely staggered and upset us. Unfortunately, that will be our lasting memory of this idyllic getaway. |
