Hotel With A Personal Touch Visited: November 2009 |

| Stayed at the New Montrose with friends. The owners and staff made us feel very welcome. The food was great, the room was a nice size and the balcony was an added bonus. There was a kitchen and a centrally located iron board on a balcony. I never iron at home but found myself loving to iron in the morning breeze. The rooms all have a/c and a refrig. The hotel is near the airport and stores. They even have two KFC's what a hoot. I tried some of the local fruits and loved it. I will visit Saint Vincent again and will stay at the New Montrose again. The rates are very reasonable and the service surpass that of a 5 star hotel. | |

This is a great place to stay for Vincy Mas. Visited: July 2009 |

| This is a very comfortable stay while on the island for Vincy Mas. It's in a nice neighborhood, and very close to airport (as well as the town). It offers a great view from the balcony and dining area. Bequia can be seen from the balconies, too. There is also a beach within walking distance. The staff is very warm and welcoming. I am looking forward to my next stay here! Thanks to Michael for providing a great time here. |

| The Richview Guesthouse possesses a clean, warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff is dedicated and willing to go the extra mile to make sure the guests are comfortable. Michael is the consumate host. I don't know how he does it, but he makes sure all of his guests are transported to and from their various destination, and their needs are taken care of. I highly recommend the Richview as your choice of accommodation. |

It was alright. The rooms were clean. Visited: March 2009 |

| It was alright - apart from the fact it was right next door was a prison, and if you walked by, you could hear people screaming. Also, there was a huge street party going on, and a dark alley right outside our window. As we looked outside, we got a great view of homeless people, and random folks coming through yelling and urinating in the street. There was also a man slamming his door late at night. When we looked outside, he was standing there in a towel. It was not what I wanted to see just before I went to sleep. The architecture was great. The rooms were pleasant and simple. Also, the breakfast was good. However, there was not a lot of food per person. There was no room service, either. Finally, the smell of the streets outside permeated most of the inside of the hotel. Otherwise, it was quite pleasant. |

This is the best place to stay in St. Vincent. Visited: February 2009 |

| My husband and I celebrated our second wedding anniversary at Richview Apartment Hotel. It was a breathtaking experience for us. We enjoyed our entire stay. It is a memory which will stay with us forever. We arrived Friday night, and Michael (the owner) was there to pick us up at the airport in his Safari-looking jeep. Our first impression of Michael was that he was very warm, kind and friendly. He took us to our room - which was very spacious and homey. The overall view of the building was all about its unique, yet colonial style. In the morning, we enjoyed the view out on the balcony of our room. The Grenadine Island, known as Bequia Island, could be seen through an immense mass of water. It was a very beautiful sight. There was a beach down the street from Richview, and the airport was about three minutes away. As we sat outside, we saw several aircrafts landing. After having a Caribbean Style breakfast, Michael took us down to the capital Kingstown. The shopping was fairly good, and the people are very friendly. Richview was located between the airport and Kingstown. It was very convenient. After speaking with the friendly staff at the hotel, Michael dropped us at the port where we took the ferry to go to Bequia Island. It took us one hour to get to Bequia Island. The beaches had white sand, and the water was very appealing. Michael also took us sightseeing to Fort Charlotte and the lighthouse. He also took us to the country side of St. Vincent, and to the Montreal Gardens. When we left, Michael even dropped us off at the airport - even though our flight was 6:00 am. That's one nice quality about Michael, he was always willing to assist in any way he could. His staff was quite accommodating. When we returned home to Trinidad, we certainly missed the staff at Richview, and hope to see them again. May God bless Michael and his staff at Richview. |

| My boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience at Richview. It was a clean, comfortable, and relaxing home away from home. The owner, Michael, and all his staff were wonderful, making sure that we enjoyed our first trip to St. Vincent. We will definitely go back again, and recommend it to anybody visiting SVG. Thanks Michael! |

This is a very special place! Visited: November 2007 |

| We stayed here in November 2007 for three nights, and what a delight. The food was exceptional, and the staff was very attentive and so friendly. We had a sea view room with spectacular views over Young Island and the sea. However, the rooms were in need of updating. They were clean, comfortable and had everything we needed, though. It was a great base to explore from and we are looking forward to coming back again. |

All you need is love! Visited: October 2007 |

| At all times during our stay at this hotel, we felt loved. The front office people were very friendly, and helped us out with many things - such as taxi arrangements, excursions and flight confirmation. The food in the restaurant was excellent, and the waitresses were always interested in our possible needs. We really felt loved by everyone: the staff, and the manager, who made us feel very welcome. We love you too, guys! We can't wait to come back. |

| A group of six found Roys Inn through a friend. We loved the hotel; the food was excellent; the service was fantastic; and the view was amazing. We loved the walk to and from the city hub - just ten minutes. We also liked the old Colonial charm, yet with all the amentities and service was 21st century. It was lovely to have coffee on the patio overlooking the harbour. If we could give more then five stars - we would. |

| This hotel was newly refurbished. The flavor is truly a Caribbean style. While I was here, a bird was nesting in the light fixtures - comfortable as ever, rearing its young without disturbance. You don't have to travel far to find food. It was right downstairs. Try it! I think you'll enjoy it here. |

We found this to be a total rip off. Visited: January 2006 |

| I stayed here with the intention of staying for two or three nights. When I arrived, I was offered a room, but was told it did not have a balcony (of which I accepted). The rate was $135 per night - plus 17% tax. The next morning I asked for a change of room or a reduction in the rate. I was told that the price was the same, and that it was the only room available, as this was kept and only used as an overspill room. The room was very noisy from traffic and from the air conditioner. I thought this room was just one of the "hole in the wall" types. The room also had a very strong musty smell. The location was far from ideal as it involved a long walk to the beach and was far from any attractions or other activities. After consideration, I decided to phone around to find another hotel....at 10.30am I went to checkout, and guess what! They offered to only charge me $88 for the next night, but offered no reduction for the first night. I refused the offer. I left and checked into 'The Cobblestones Inn' at just $75 (inclusive). It was a little paradise. Believe me, the Villa Lodge is very overrated and overpriced. I would certainly not recommend Villa Lodge to anyone, or visit the place again. |

Roys Inn boasts excellent staff, food and amenities! Visited: January 2006 |

| The hotel was very clean and comfortable, with wonderful, friendly staff. It was located a short walk from town, so there was no need to taxi in. The food was excellent, and we found no reason to dine elsewhere. It was definitely worth a return trip. This hotel and island was well worth the transfer through Barbados, which was without a single glitch. I feel the time is coming where more and more people will know of and travel to St. Vincent. And when they do, it will definitely put Roy's Inn on the top of your short list of places to check out to stay. |

The Cobblestone Inn is a comfortable, well-run establishment; ideal for business Visited: September 2005 |
|
| Posted by robertdabney | |
| I spent four nights at the Cobblestone Inn in September, 2005. My business took me to Kingstown, and I could not have asked for a more central location. The hotel was located about ten minutes by cab from the airport. The rooms ranged (at time of writing) from $70 - $90 per night. The hotel had hardwired high speed internet service available in the two rooms on the first floor. Room 28 was an old converted jewelry store with beautiful wrought iron doors. It had two queen-sized beds, a refrigerator, iron, many electrical (220h) outlets and satellite television. My only minor complaint was that there could be a phone on the work desk. As it was, it was not possible to work on the computer at the desk and talk on the phone at the same time. It was a minor inconvenience. Sandra, whom it seemed works all day, every day at reception, was wonderful and took care of my every need. I did not try the hotel restaurant, so I cannot comment on its quality. If you are in downtown St. Vincent on business, I highly recommend this hotel. After all, I have reserved six rooms for a week for an upcoming meeting on the island. |
