This was my fourth visit to La Casablanca. I was made so welcomed, I brought my wife here for our honeymoon in July 2006 and we came as a family in May 2007.
Pat and Ray made us so welcomed and looked after us so well, we can think of no where better to go for a holiday. It was more like a home, nothing was too much trouble. Ray's island tours are amazing as his knowledge of Tobago.
We have become good friends, and when our birthdays fall during our holiday, Ray gets the barbecue out and Pat does loads of food to go with the meat. I had my birthday here last year, and Cilla this year. On each occasion, it was a good party night.
We would highly recommend La Casablanca to anyone who wants an excellent family holiday on beautiful surroundings. We will always return to Pat and Ray's when we holiday in the Caribbean.
Thanks very much for your welcome and friendship. |

I would recommend this place to anyone. It is so nice and peaceful -all you hear is the splashes of the waves coming in.
You'll also enjoy the wonderful sea breeze and a beautiful fish pond at the back. This place is the best I've ever experienced.
To anyone who would just like to get away from the busy life, come here. I promise you it is a very pleasant, and it is an experience you will enjoy. |

La Casablanca was, by far, the best guest house we have ever stayed in. The rooms were large, clean, and very well maintained, and the view was awesome.
The breakfasts were huge and varied. Coffee, tea and other items were available 24 hours a day. Our laundry was taken care of every day.
The grounds and pool were very well maintained, and it was just a short walk to the beach.
If I had to describe La Casablanca in one word, it would be "Paradise". Pat and Ray were awesome hosts, and all their guests are made to feel extremely welcome, and nothing is too much trouble for them. We would return in a heartbeat. |

La Casablanca Guest House was one of the most beautiful, tidy, peaceful and comfortable places that we have visited. The view was fabulous in all directions.
Pat and Ray were lovely people; they made us feel at home doing always their best to please the guests.
The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. The house had very nice areas to enjoy, with a swimming pool, terrace and gorgeous gardens.
We recommend widely La Casablanca to spend great holidays in Tobago. |

It was the best vacation ever. La Casablanca was nestled in the mountains of Tobago. It was a taste of heaven. I recommend it to everyone I know.
Pat and Ray were wonderful hosts. It was the best Bed and Breakfast that we have been to. Ray gave us a wonderful tour of this exotic island. Pat was an amazing cook. The place was very clean and inviting. They made us feel so much at home that we are going back again in April 2007. |

My family and I stayed here for three weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Smith were so welcoming. They looked after us when they did not have to. It was like a home from home.
Breakfasts were out of this world, and the property itself was beautiful. It was very clean and well looked after, and the rooms were very well decorated and roomy.
I would recommend this property to all my friends, and I can guarantee we will be re-visiting soon. |

I have so much to say, yet so little room!
We have traveled the world, but have never found such tranquility and bliss. La Casablanca Guest House was a haven for tropical birds. They had a glorious garden, and it was the most beautiful house.
In addition, the owners - Pat and Ray - were two of the nicest people you could wish to meet. I could write a book on the merits of Pat and Ray, La Casablanca and Tobago - there is just so much to tell.
Pat's amazing breakfasts, Ray's tuition in the art of Liming (which John excelled at), friendly and efficient airport pickup, and welcome drinks in the garden by the pool were just a few treats we experienced here. We also enjoyed listening to the whistling frogs and watching fireflies light up the trees. That gave "home entertainment" a new meaning.
There is not enough space here to do justice to the people, and to the island of Tobago. We are returning to La Casablanca Guest House this year. We now feel as though we have known Pat and Ray for years and have become part of a large family.
Thank you Pat and Ray for your help, for your kindness, and your friendship. Also, thanks to Tobago, without which we would never have found our paradise. Dreams are made here! |

Run by super-hospitable Pat and Ray, La Casablanca is by far the best bed and breakfast I've ever stayed in.
Not only are the rooms, house and grounds beautifully kept and impeccably clean, your hosts will facilitate a perfectly relaxing holiday in every way imaginable.
Special touches like great breakfasts that will keep you going at least until three, wonderful dinners served upon request (at very friendly prices), airy en-suite rooms and shared TV and reading area, superb views of Minster Bay and the idyllic garden and pool, rides to Scarborough and tours of the island make La Casablanca so good that you won't want to leave the place! |

This is the perfect place to completely unwind and destress. We have visited at least six times (we have now lost count).
Ray and Pat cannot do too much to make your holiday a really good experience. The house is in an absolutely beautiful location, near a beach where you can walk in the morning before breakfast.
Breakfast is enough to keep you going all day and is varied including local dishes - if you wish. Having your washing done and beach towels provided makes life very easy, too.
Also, the pool and garden are beautiful - full of flowers and wonderful birds.
Tobago is beautiful, as are the people. And Ray and Pat give you good ideas of where to go. A car is really essential to make the most of the place. We will be back soon.

My husband and I stayed at La Casablanca Guest House for six nights during our Christmas vacation. Our hosts, Pat and Ray, were wonderful. Their home was extremely comfortable, with cozy rooms, nice baths and a yard that included a pool area, lots of plants and birds.
The hillside house was near a private, secluded beach where we walked and swam daily. The second floor, where the guest rooms were located, had ocean views, great breezes, a balcony, and a common TV area (which we never used). We liked to watch the sunsets and rises from the balcony. One of the rooms had its own balcony-we stayed there for three of the nights.
Pat's breakfasts were delicious, always generous and started with fresh fruit salads. Sometimes the entre would be a Trinidadian specialty, other times it was a frittata packed with goodies or pancakes. Each breakfast was a treat.
The Guest House was conveniently located. And although it was in a quiet neighborhood, it was easy to access the main road into town or to the beaches.
We were able to make day trips to Scarborough, Pigeon Point and Arnes Vale beach and other spots nearby. We had a rental car, which Pat arranged for us.
The Guest House also provided free laundry service, which we really appreciated.
Our first stay was at the beginning of the trip, and after exploring farther points of Tobago, found ourselves returning to La Casablanca for three more nights, where we could be pampered, relax and we felt like we were home.
We highly recommend La Casablanca. Our experience surpassed all expectations. |

This was an excellent choice. It was quiet, untouristy, and kept by lovely and gracious hosts. The five-star breakfasts kept us going all day.
My only complaint was the polyester sheets. They slipped all over the bed! I would suggest switching to cotton. Otherwise, our visit was perfection. |

A friend and I spent six days with Pat and Ray in September 2003 and would heartily recommend their guest-house to anyone planning their first (or any) trip to Tobago.
Their house was located in a quiet residential district around Bacolet Bay - slightly away from the hubbub of Scarborough and the resort hotels on the Lowlands side of the island, but still close enough to reach all the amenities easily by car.
Pat and Ray were excellent hosts and full of useful practical local information. We had a delightful room overlooking Minister Bay and made full use of the terrific pool and patio area - the favored location for a late afternoon chat and a beer while being entertained by the antics of the two resident parrots and other birds that gathered around for the evening feast.
Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts - from having clothes washed daily to advice on where to eat, shop, buy petrol, etc. The rooms were well appointed and clean. All in all, the guesthouse provided all the amenities we needed while preserving a low-key friendly environment - in our view a much better option than the all inclusive hotels that tend to dominate this end of the island. |

We absolutely loved staying here. Pat and Ray were fabulous hosts, we were very pleased with all of their recommendations.
Breakfast truly surpassed description. The house was beautiful, and the rooms were very comfortable. The garden was nothing short of amazing--Pat must have two green thumbs.
Going to Minister Bay was like walking through a postcard. We just couldn't have been happier with our stay here. Bacolet was a terrific base from which to explore the island. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. |

A tropical home away from home. Visited: April 2003 |

La Casablanca was without a doubt, the best guesthouse I have ever stayed in. My room had ocean views, and was extremely comfortable and immaculately clean.
The garden was magnificent and the pool was a treat - some days I didn't even feel a need to go out. The breakfasts left hardly enough room to sample the local cuisine, afternoon drinks appeared before I knew I even wanted one, my laundry was done every day, and the hospitality was first class. I felt so much at home I even wanted to help with the dishes, but this was about the only thing I wasn't allowed to do.
La Casablanca was ideally located in that it was far enough away from the tourist haunts to make you feel like a local, yet close enough to be able to access them easily. I can't recommend this place highly enough and I can't wait to get back there. |

I still can't believe what a perfect holiday it was! The accommodation was spotless with every need catered to, and a wonderful pool set in glorious gardens. They also had fantastic breakfasts that would fill us up for the whole day.
Ray and Pat were the most brilliant hosts. I can't recommend them highly enough. They gave us loads of information on the beautiful and close beaches, restaurants, museums and shops. They really were the best and we are already planning a return trip. |

From the moment my wife and I arrived for our honeymoon, we were made to feel we had known Pat and Ray for years. They just couln't do enough for us.
The house was absolutely beautiful and the view from all the rooms was just fantastic. Ray very kindly introduced me to a local thing called 'liming' which was hard to adapt to, but after a short while I was an expert, just like Ray.
All the local delicacies were wonderful, the Carib especially so. I long for the day I can go back. Thanks, Pat and Ray, for a lovely honeymoon. I hoped for something extra special, and you far exceeded all my expectations and hopes. |

La Casablanca was wonderful. Pat and Ray made us feel at home. They were great people. This was the most relaxing vacation we have ever had. We can't wait to go back.
It was secluded in the mountains and close to the beaches. The local island dishes they prepared were phenomenal. Breakfast was served at the pool side, as we relaxed to the sound of the waves. We miss the delicious flying fish and coconut water.
The island tour by Ray was superb, we were shown the most beautiful places in Tobago. The scenery was postcard perfect. We wish we could have stayed longer. This is where you go when you want to get away from it all, just a fabulous experience.
