What a pleasant stay! Visited: August 2009 Posted by sexychic73 I must say thank you to the staff at Tradewinds Hotel for a very warm welcome and the hospitality that my other half and I received. The food at Driftwood was out of this world, and the service was unbelievable. I could go on and on, but you have to experience it for yourself. I will be back at Tradewinds for a longer stay in October. I'm sure my experience will be even better. Oh, I must not forget Franklin, the security guard. I appreciated his help in everything. Tradewinds Hotel is a home away from home! Visited: February 2009 Posted by hanamania I just wanted to express how extremely pleased I was with my trip back home for Carnival 2009. I live in the Bahamas now, and visited my home country with Bahamian friends and we all loved it! We arranged transportation with the hotel shuttle service, with a very nice driver named Nigel, and the courteous front desk staff was very helpful in assisting us with any information we needed. Even though we were busy with fetes and other events, the Friday night karaoke was a blast! Our rooms were clean and spacious, the food was excellent, and the location was great. I was able to be close to family and friends, yet be close to the highway for Port of Spain events! This was a wonderful hotel and I recommend it to everyone.
