A Trinidad travel review

I extended my recent stay at Sadila House because the courtesies extended to me by the owner and his wife (not to mention the clean comfortable rooms and ease of access to major routes) surpassed my expectations.
Just to give you an idea of the extraordinary measures to make my stay safe and convenient: the owner voluntarily rose early in the morning (4:00 am) to take me to Port of Spain to catch the early ferry to Tobago.
On all occassions, my many requests and inquiries were quickly attended to. I stayed at Sadila House for nine days when the original plan was for two.
"A home away from home" is a very apt way to describe my stay, and I wholeheartedly recommend this gem of a place to all my fellow travelers.
