The islands do allow pets but require health certificates and forms be fillled out and sent to the island ahead of time.
The Turks & Caicos islands are always on EST (as daylight saving time is observed).
Cell phone coverage varies with provider - Cingular works on Providenciales.
Although there are ATM's they are not reliable, bring cash and credit cards.
Villa guests - You can ship food and drinks but the grocery stores are well stocked.
Take it easy when driving around, the traffic police are rarely out but the tickets are pricey.
Please do not rent bicycles on this island, it's not a safe way to get around.

Dress Code: Casual, lightweight clothing. Swimwear is not appropriate in public places and topless or nude sunbathing or swimming is also considered inappropriate except at certain resorts.
