This is a lovely condo hotel in a good location. Visited: July 2009 Posted by desmone I loved the spacious condos and the tastefully decorated, clean condo apartments at Tradewinds. When I travel, I need to feel at home and not cramped up. The spacious kitchen gave me the opportunity to cook if I wanted to. There are some good dining options within walking distance of the hotel, too (no restaurants onsite). I loved the look and feel of the well manicured gardens and pool area. It was very relaxing! Of course, there's a beautiful white sand beach nearby, which is why I love this hotel so much! Visited: June 2009 Posted by desmone Normally I like to stay right on the beach. If I could set up a tent and sleep on the beach, I would! But being highly recommended, I stayed at Tradewinds. I wasn't disappointed. Even though it's not right on the beach, I could see the sparkling waters from the condo balcony, and it was just a short walk away. I had no problems getting around or finding places to eat, either. In addition, the room was clean and comfy. Visited: March 2006 Posted by scuba_suzie My husband and I had the pleasure to book a dive trip to TCI in March 2006. We were looking for a smaller property free of the hassle of having hundreds of people around. We fould exactly what we were looking for at Tradewinds. There were only 18 units, and many were occupied by longer term residents. Mike, the owner, was there on site to assist us with questions about local attractions and places to dine. It was centrally located and very close to shops and dining. We walked to great places to eat. Even though the accommodations were unassuming and not directly on the beach, the complex was very close to Grace Bay, and we did not find that a negative. Dive PROVO was associated with the hotel, and the diving was outstanding. It was very clean, comfortable, and in a good location. Visited: March 2005 Posted by gc911s We made last-minute reservations after reviewing several other properties that were either sold out or over priced. We had the pleasure of staying here for seven days. We had a one-bedroon unit with pull out sleeper sofa for children, and a nice kitchen and living area. It was very low key, uncrowded, affordable and relaxing. You will not be dissapointed. It was not beachfront, but it was a short walk away. Mike was a great host. We will vist here again soon. Visited: March 2004 Posted by gehringt We talked to Mike B. (the manager) before we went, and everything was as he said - excellent, modern, clean and beautiful. It was a short walk to Grace Bay, which was amazing - better than the photos. And the locals were very friendly and helpful. Food was good for the price. Also, it was not crowded.
