Bajacu - Turks and Caicos

Bajacu (rising sun in the language of Caribbean natives) is located on the beautiful island of Providenciales, Turks and Caicos. It is situated on a south shore hilltop with a breathtaking 270 degree view of the sea and surrounded by lush tropical gardens. A natural stone path provides direct access from the villa to the sea.

Lined by palm trees and scented plants, a meandering footpath leads to a majestic Palapa (open thatched living-room). Antique furniture from Asia, Indonesia and Africa together with unique pieces of artwork create an elegant and restful atmosphere.

Among the many pleasures of Bajacu is the encounter of numerous beautiful private areas where one can relax in total privacy, enjoy a cool tropical drink, a good book or simply astonishing views.

The house includes a formal indoor dining room that can seat 16, together with a protected and tranquil outdoor dining area seating 10.

The following staff tends to the property: Chef, Gardener, 1 to 3 Maids, and a handyman. Two of the staff members live on site in separate staff quarters.

Named after the flowers found on the property, the five bedrooms are carefully designed to ensure the utmost comfort and privacy. Bajacu has 5 air-conditioned bedrooms (3 with King beds and 2 with Double beds), each with a private terrace with stunning sea views, ensuite bath with shower, walk-in closet, flat screen TV, DVD, high speed internet access, safe and telephone.

The Master bedroom is situated in a separate building
for an extra touch of romance and seclusion. Each room has its own en-suite bathroom and private terrace offering panoramic views of the sea.

One of the highlights of the house is the layout of two spectacular infinity swimming pools cascading into one another and merging seamlessly with the sea. The larger of the two pools leads directly from the Master bedroom, curves around the spacious sun deck and culminates at the foot of the pergola.

Bajacu is surrounded by an 11 acre estate of lush tropical gardens with coconut, royal palm, and fruit trees, bougainvilleas, jasmine, and frangipani.

Bajacu has its own fresh water making plant and guests can enjoy the fresh fruits and herbs harvested on the estate.

Sunset terrace, pool terrace and each bedroom with a private terrace, Bajacu offers numerous places to enjoy the panoramic view over the sea, to relax in a shaded area or to have a drink in the summer evening.

A stunning pergola links the palapa to three separate areas, the interior living-room, the formal 16-seat dining room and the shaded outdoor dining area.

The boat captain will take you to secluded beaches and accompanied by a professional divemaster, you will discover the beauty of the underwater world.

Villa Notes:
Beaches, golf and fine restaurants are minutes away by car. 15 minutes to airport. A Marina is down the hill.

Swimming pools:
Large Pool: 170 feet long, 24 feet wide on average and from 4 to 8.5 feet deep.
Small Pool: 24 feet long, 15 feet wide and 4 feet deep.
Both pools can be heated (if desired).

Security:
Gated estate, alarm system and safe in each room.

Internet: The house is WIFI with high speed internet in each room.

Child care: can be arranged in advance at an additional cost.
