Description:

Vieux Caribe (pronounced view caribe) Villa recalls a simpler time when leisure was spent under slow moving fans with palm fronds casting long shadows in the quiet afternoon and soft conversations enjoyed with a cool drink.

Spectacularly situated on a rocky promontory known as "Ocean Point " this luxurious villa boasts seven master suites, private pool and oceanfront location. A feeling of timeless elegance will envelope you as soon as you enter.
The five bedrooms in the main house each open onto a covered deck from which spectacular views of the ocean and pool deck can be enjoyed. Cable television is provided in all bedrooms and each benefits from a large en suite bathroom. Of these bedrooms, three feature King Size beds while the remaining two have two Queen size beds each. A separate 2 bedroom suite is located just off the pool deck and access is via an external entrance only. This suite contains 2 bedrooms, each with King size bed and en suite bathroom, and a spacious living area complete with sofas, TV and refrigerator. This lower level is suitable for persons with impaired mobility.

The living area at Vieux Caribe is large and airy, and is complimented by French doors that open onto the large pool terrace, which has a cabana and wet bar. The interior furnishings are an eclectic mix of antique and unique furnishings which compliment the Caribbean flavour of the property. The cathedral ceilings and interior balconies add to the spaciousness of the property. TV with cable service is provided in the living area along with DVD player and stereo system.

Dining at Vieux Caribe can be formal of informal - the choice is yours! The main dining table seats 8 people but a further 4 can be seated on an adjoining table. Or choose to eat outside on the pool deck and under the stars if the mood takes you. The kitchen will delight aspiring gourmet cooks and there is also a gas grill on the pool deck for more casual cuisine.

The clever design of the villa allows for natural cross ventilation and there are ceiling fans in each room. However there are also air conditioning units in all rooms and should you choose to use this facility the cost will be metered and charged back to you upon departure.

Villa Vieux Caribe is so peaceful and luxurious that you may never want to venture far. However the soft white sands of Taylor Beach are just a few minutes walk away, as are the tennis courts which are available free of charge to residents. Within easy reach by car you will find beautiful Grace Bay beach which stretches for over 12 miles, great snorkeling, sailing, golf and numerous restaurants.

Vieux Caribe is truly a taste of the "Old Caribbean " with all of the benefits of a modern home.

Villa Notes:
The full time island management staff is on hand to answer any questions and assist with any optional arrangements or reservations such as restaurants, fishing, sailing, tours, chef, etc.

Optional Suite:
In addition to the main living area of this villa, Vieux Caribe Villa has an optional, separate suite containing 2 bedrooms, and 2 baths. Please note that this suite will not rent nor be occupied by any party other than your party booking the main house, so if you are booking this villa, there will not be strangers below. This suite enjoys good views of the sea and offers you added privacy since it is not connected to the interior of the main house. The suite has exterior access only. In addition to generous, private, waterside deck space, the suite has 2 bedrooms, each with a king bed and TV, 2 baths, living area with kitchenette, stereo and wet bar. Maximum occupancy in the suite is limited to two couples or two singles. It is available for an additional $2,800 a week high season, or $2,400 a week low season, thus giving you a total of 7 bedrooms for $12,000 in high season, or $9,600 per week in low season.
