3.0 stars The price is right at Sibonne Beach. Visited: July 2008

What an incredible location! In an effort to conserve water, we did not opt for housekeeping, but our room was very clean upon check-in.

While amenities like flat screen TVs or updated furnishings did not exist, the room was efficient. I wish there had been either a microwave or toaster, however.

The continental breakfast was toast, fruit, o.j. and coffee. There were no substitutions, but extras (eggs, a side of bacon, an English muffin) were only $2-3 additional.

Junior, the bartender on the website, was the most friendly employee at this hotel. Unfortunately, most (not all) other people were unfriendly and/or disinterested in anything resembling customer service.

4.0 stars This is a great option. Visited: March 2008

This is a great deal if your plan is to relax, walk on the beach and have a great time. It has the best location, and you can walk to both sides on the beach and everything is very close.

The breakfast that included is normal. The rooms are clean and just what you need. If you want to party every night, this is not your hotel. However, you can walk to the other hotels nearby, or get a taxi to a local bar.

The hotel staff is very kind, and the cocktails are the best. The pool is very small, but is not needed since the ocean is very calm and just feet away. The restaurant is a little classy, excellent option and great cocktails. Also, you can walk to Hemingway's at the Sands, which is very good.

4.0 stars It was more than we hoped for! Visited: August 2006

We stayed at Sibonne for a week in August of 2006.

The hotel was quaint, clean, and endowed with an excellent stretch of Grace Bay beach. We also enjoyed the restaurant at the hotel-especially the breakfast fare!

We cannot wait to arrive at Sibonne this August, 2007 for our second annual trip!

Sibonne had to be the perfect dream come true for us! Everything we dreamed about and needed was here.

We lived on the beach for five straight days. It was a very clean, quiet, secluded and beautiful beach.

Also, the staff was wonderful, especially Vincent!

4.0 stars This is the perfect place for R & R. Visited: November 2004

Our room, the "Papaya" room (#203) was a two-room suite on the second floor facing the ocean with a balcony that seated seven! We had a queen size bed with the mosquito net suspended from above. A second TV in the sitting room and a small fridge made this very comfortable.

The sand was like walking on powdered sugar, pure softness no grainy feel. The water was clean and turquoise - we could see for dozens of meters. A 15-minute walk down the beach put us in front of the Coral Beach Hotel where there was a reef about 200 meters in diameter right near the shore. We snorkeled there every day for free. We saw sea turtles, many different kinds of fish, and there was hardly anyone else there!

This was a great place. We would have liked to have had a microwave in the room, as this was as expensive as Hawaii for meals and taxis. The excellent onsite restaurant allowed guests to never leave this 29-room resort.

Although Mexico is less expensive, I will pay more and return to the Sibonne again and again.

5.0 stars This is the best if you are looking for quiet and relaxation! Visited: March 2004

After four trips to Provo, we have found the perfect place to return on our spring break vacation. It was a great beach apartment with full kitchen, very clean and comfortable.

We loved eating on the screened porch and watching sunsets on the balcony. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We have booked it for the next two years!

4.0 stars A Perfect, Quiet Getaway with Great Food! Visited: May 2001

It seems like no one has heard of this newly-redone little gem on Provo. What a find! It’s such a low price that you can't go wrong, with the perfect combination of great food, simple elegance, lush gardens and fabulous beach.

With only 25 rooms, even on a holiday it seemed like no one else was there. Though the hotel rooms are not luxurious, they are delightfully decorated, spacious and offer all one really needs with full air conditioning, ceiling fans, stone-tiled showers in the bath, plenty of fresh, thick bath and beach towels, 33 channel cable TV and a small refrigerator in each room.

The staff is warm and friendly, and the accessibility of the beyond-excellent Bay Bistro restaurant really makes this a charming place. I had some of the best meals that I've ever had here! It was heaven! I will certainly visit Provo again, and choose Sibonne once more!
