This was a once in a lifetime experience that we'll do again! Visited: June 2009 |

Thirteen members from multiple families gathered over two weeks in late June and early July, 2009 to celebrate a college graduation of my son and the engagement of another family member. Some people stayed the entire time; others had a partial stay. Everyone loved the time they could be at the villa and on the island!
The villa was homey, comfortable and utilitarian. It was exactly as described and met every one of our expectations. We were able to use our son's PC for internet, and had our own CDs for ongoing music of every kind.
Access to the beach and snorkeling was as described and wonderful. The sunsets were breathtaking, but I preferred the serene mornings with coffee looking out onto the sea.
The least appealing part of the place was that it gets direct sunlight from 2:30 until sunset, and the afternoon sun was very hot.
We loved being able to walk to Turtle Cove (Tiki Hut, Sharkbite and one night rode up to Magnolia's for dinner; what a spectacular view of the cove and sunset).
Driving on the left side of the road took some adjustment and our mantra was "hug the left" but we experienced "no problem, mon". Be sure to take the full day sail with Sail Provo, and spend time at Pine Cay. It was the most beautiful experience of my life (next to the birth of our kids!).
Shannon in the office and Ryan and Patrick (Natu) on the catamaran were extraordinarily hospitable!
The Graceway IGA (Leeward Hwy) is as nice a grocery store as you'll find in the states, but expect to pay for it. Ice was $2.50 a bag and a case of beer approached $40. We ended up going the Graceway Gourmet IGA (near the resorts) and could get a six pack of Bud Light for $6.99. We bought a lot of six packs! On the other hand we could get Balvenie - a great single malt scotch at the Wine cellar for $36.
A tip 'o the hat to wheretostay.com for their thoroughness and follow through. Andrew Macafee is the man! Come on, book your trip! |

Good snorkeling was available. Also, it was close to restaurants, the supermarket and casinos.
In addition, the rooms were very nice. There were no surprises here at all. Andrew was very helpful!
I have stayed on the south side of Provo before and enjoyed it, but this was less isolated and better for diving. |

We had a wonderful time at Turtle Beach Villa. The house was more than we could have expected. Everything about it was just as described.
I think at one time or another we had to use all of its amenities. Except for the air conditioner, I guess. With the constant breeze we never had to. It was a really nice place to visit.
The beaches were incredible and the weather perfect. I would be interested to know where else you have rental properties. Everyone is ready for the next trip. Thanks for a great time! |
