Q: We would like to vacation anywhere in the Carribean between Christmas and New Years. Family of four -- two teenage girls. House on beach would be great, but reasonably priced. close to activity, but not in a city. Answer

A: That is a pretty tough thing to find at this stage.
One place that often has availability over the holidays are the Ocean Villas in Puerto Rico. They are private condo's on the beach but you get to use the hotel.
