A handcrafted teak staircase spirals up within the stone mill to two separate air-conditioned bedroom/bath suites (one king and one queen), which offer even better long-distance views from their high vantage point and cooling tradewinds.
The romantic, air-conditioned king master suite features a West Indian four-poster king bed, a large bath and a roofed alfresco sitting room for private moments; this suite is on Clairmont Mill's main level, right across the entry hall from the Great Room. air-conditioned bedroom suite has a queen bed and a full bath; it lies a few steps below the main floor, and has its own private entry. Just off the pool deck is the fifth bedroom, a private sleeping cabana with your choice of two twin beds or a queen, air-conditioned, and with its own tiled bath. Villa Notes:
After May 1, 2009, the small home gym and exercise equipment will be eliminated at Clairmont Mill. In addition, beginning in May, the villa owner (the resident manager) will again be living and working in the cottage down below the villa, among the plantation ruins, which has its own driveway and parking. Guests will not see her at all unless they request that she comes up to the villa.
An excellent West Indian cook is available for guests at Clairmont Mill at an additional cost, for a special dinner or for three meals a day - please inquire for rates, and kindly reserve well in advance. In addition, before your arrival, you may arrange for your groceries and drinks to be provisioned at the villa for your arrival day. Professional massages and spa services in the privacy of Clairmont Mill are also available with advance reservation.
