This was an absolutely wonderful place to stay. Visited: August 2003 Posted by gregga I spent a week here with my son and we had a marvelous time. The room was immaculate, linens were new and fresh, and we had no problems with towels or service as mentioned by another reviewer. We used the hotel facilities every day and we had great service. If you love to fly fish, then you’ve got to take a day and go fishing with South Of Twenty. We had two days of awesome fishing. We caught huge bonefish, tarpon and snook. It was one of the best times I’ve ever had! The owner, Eric Anderson was very helpful and was great when we needed to change our reservations. It provided privacy, yet full use of the facilities on the grounds (two pools, a wonderful beach, fitness center, restaurants, etc.). Our place was very clean and cozy, and it provided a wonderful home base on very lush grounds. Coki Beach was a three-minute walk away, and the Morningstar Charter was a must for every visitor (see them at Fungi's). Thank you so much for everything. Visited: February 2003 Posted by jbutzier This was a very different experience than what I expected. I felt that the management and staff were very rude. The beds were hard as rocks. While we were there, the laundry room was locked so we had to go to the Laundromat and wait in line forever with the charter boat crews. The condo was cheery and clean, but the maid came at 5pm and took up a night to ourselves to clean room, which we thought was kind of weird. It was tough to rate this property because of the off-balanced property and staff's bad vibes. If you can avoid them you will probably be okay, just don't ask to have anything brought to your condo because they will either be reluctant to bring it or will make you wait for days. Our villa was beautiful and offered us a sense of home. Visited: January 2003 Posted by nospam4me We had a great time on this paradise of an island. The rooms were clean, and were exactly as seen on the web site. We used many of the hotel services, and we were not disappointed in the least. Our trip was highlighted by chartering a sailboat out of Cruz Bay. It was 3 ½ hours of heaven. We talked to the owner and he went out of his way so we could stay one extra day. We enjoyed our stay in St. Thomas Visited: January 2003 Posted by tedlisa We stayed at the Amazing Villas for three weeks and enjoyed the property very much. Our two children enjoyed the beach and the water toys available, and we appreciated having a quiet, very comfortable home to come back to each evening. The kitchen proved to be a money-saving factor for meals, as we found the food to be very expensive eating out. A great place for a family vacation Visited: December 2002 Posted by eppsteiner My family and I stayed here for a week over Christmas. The condo was fantastic -- clean, well furnished, well equipped, and well located. It gave us the best of both worlds -- our own condo with lots of room, but access to all the facilities of a first class hotel. Our host, Eric Anderson, thought of everything -- a BBQ grill, coolers for the beach, and even beach towels. We really wanted for nothing. It was a great find. The Amazing Villas provided wonderful rooms and hade a gracious host Visited: November 2002 Posted by houstongretch I had a great time and my room was fantastic. It had a brand new kitchenette with a small fridge, coffeemaker, and a microwave, so I could eat what I wanted to for breakfast and lunch. The pools were brand new and beautiful. I spent most of my time at the beach with a book. The beach was clean and there were plenty of beach chairs available. You could get snorkel gear for no charge to use during your trip. The owner also lined up a fishing trip for me that was great. I caught my first Dorado, what a hoot! The Amazing Villas was on the grounds of the Renaissance Grand Beach Marriott and we had access to all of this hotels' facilities. The Spa was very nice, and the Amazing Villas staff was great. An outstanding property with a great beach. Visited: August 2002 Posted by artsclassics We stayed at Amazing Villas while we were on a business trip. It was one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. As a guest of Amazing Villas, you have full use of the Renaissance Grand Beach Resort property. It was close to Red Hook and the owner lined us up with some of the best fishing we have ever had!
