Even though it has been several months since we stayed here, my husband and I can't express how great it was.
We agree with all the positive comments made by others who have stayed here. We had a super vacation. John and Adele were very friendly and helpful.
We hope to return to this spot some day. |

This is a real find! The property is away from the towns and the resort-type crowds.
It offers a beautiful setting on the beach, but there is not much swimming or snorkeling at the site. With a walk down the beach to the nearby small resort, there is a nice swimming beach - and snorkeling isn't too far away either. Also, sunsets are great, right from the pool!
The rooms are nicely furnished and have all the convienences you might need. Adel and John are very friendly hosts, and the daily happy hour is a nice way to meet the other guests and chat a little about favorite restaurants and things.
All in all, this is a wonderful place to stay. We would certainly stay here again. Thanks! |

Villa Margarita had a beautiful view, and was centrally located which allowed easy travel to all sides of the island.
The rooms were large, clean and private. We learned more about the island than on previous trips due to the wonderful hospitality of John and Adele.
Villa Margarita is a definite in places to stay on St. Croix. |

Villa Margarita was a very comfortable, ocean-front guest-house Visited: November 2005 |

We stayed in the studio on the ground floor. The villa also had two upstairs suites. The room was airy, light, and air-conditioned with a very adequate kitchenette. There was no stove, but a microwave, toaster-oven and electric frypan. The bed was very comfortable, too. They also had a nice, clean swimming pool.
The beach was narrow, and there was not a lot of sand - but 100 yards west was a good, wide beach. Like all St. Croix beaches, it was open to the public. The location was next to Salt River National Park and you can get really good, reasonably-priced food at the bar/restaurant at the marina.
Resident hosts were a very nice childless couple from Maryland who bought the property early in 2005. They have one dog who is very friendly once she knows you are accepted by the owners.
The very pretty town of Christiansted was about six miles east and the world-famous Cane Bay diving area was about six miles west. It was so conveniently located for all one might want. We spent a very enjoyable ten days based at the Villa. |

Villa Margarita has it all - sun, beach, seclusion, and best of all, great people! If you are going to St. Croix, Villa Margarita is the place to stay. The Villa is located in a peaceful, secluded, beachfront, setting, right next to the Salt River Bay National Park. Yet, you are moments to all the amenities that you could ever want.
Adele and John make you feel as if you are part of the family. They even picked me up at the airport! There is a nightly happy hour where you can get the "local perspective" on where to go and what to do, not to mention some Crucian rum.
There are three beautiful, oceanfront, suites that are perfectly appointed for your Caribbean stay. The suites are stocked with all of the items that you might need. John and Adele anticipated everything.
My trip to St. Croix was enriched because I chose to stay at Villa Margarita. I left the island with wonderful memories and new friends. I will be back. |

Wow! This is in a great location on the north shore overlooking the ocean. Our suite was very clean, nicely decorated, and offered a great ocean view! We had open air balconies to sit and relax on. There was also a private bath and a well equipped kitchen.
We enjoyed the freshwater swimming pool on the multi level deck, and private beach access for snorkeling and shell collecting. Scuba diving, golf, and shopping was only a few minutes away.
If you're looking for a place to stay for peace and quiet with very personalized service, make a reservation at Villa Margarita. You won't be sorry! Special thanks to Adele and John. |

John and Adele are the most accommodating hosts on the island. The rooms are spacious, include air conditioning and are extremely clean.
The property is well maintained and the nearby marina has food which is very good. Happy hour every night helps to put one in an island mood before dinner, too.
There's fantastic snorkeling in front on the beach. We liked this property so much we got married here! |

A great location with a wonderful view - we are going back soon! Visited: June 2004 |

We visited Villa Margarita around the 4th of July, 2004, and a one-week stay turned into two. We were supposed to stay at a hotel for our second week, but we fell in love with the pool, the view, and the peaceful solitude at Villa Margarita.
Victoria, the owner, made our visit so special, and we can't imagine a better place to have celebrated our 25th anniversary. We plan to return as soon as possible! |

This was our first visit to St. Croix, and we enjoyed every minute! This home is beautiful, and I would recommend it to everyone. The view is spectacular and the breezes are invigorating!
This is the place to be if you're looking for peace and quiet. It is precisely what the doctor ordered, and I look forward to returning again. |
