Pink Fancy

One of the most unique bed and breakfast style hotels in the Caribbean, Pink Fancy Hotel is a small historic inn located in downtown Christiansted, St. Croix. It is registered in the National Registry of Historical Places. The hotel offers history in a tropical setting. The oldest part of the four-building complex is a 1780 Danish townhouse. Years ago the building was a private club for wealthy planters. Fame came when Jane Gottlieb, the Ziegfeld Follies star, opened it as a hotel in 1948. In the 50s the hotel became a mecca for writers and artists attracting, among others, Noel Coward.

The Pink Fancy has one of the most unique locations in St. Croix for guests who want to experience historic the Christiansted Caribbean culture but return to our relaxing, tropical pool and inn at the end of the day. On the edge of town, we are only a few minutes walk to everything Christianstead has to offer. A short walk to the left is the sea plane terminal and the beginning of the Christiansted oceanside boardwalk that is the center of water sports and nightlife. To the right are historic streets with unique Danish architecture, duty free shopping and restaurants. A few minutes further brings you to Fort Christian National Monument and the quaint ferry boat that shuttles you out to our downtown beach. You will want to explore everything.
