Holger Danske Hotel

The Holger Dansk Hotel sits just a few steps away from heart of Christiansted's nightlife, restaurants and shopping. A member of the Best Western chain, the hotel's 30 rooms provide good value for an in-town location.

Folks who want a glimpse of Christiansted's charming harbor will pay extra for the privilege. While all the rooms have balconies, the view from the inland rooms isn't worth writing home about. You'll see the street and not much else but the eclectic collection of people that visit or call Christiansted home.

The hotel is popular with business people and independent vacationers who don't need a beach at their doorstep or a roster of planned activities. Gather at the harborside pool if you want to while
away a few hours in the sun or meet your fellow travelers.

The rooms are carpeted and have ceiling fans and air-conditioning, a welcome amenity if the noise of the seaplane's comings and goings in the harbor bother you. All of the rooms have refrigerators and some have kitchenettes, but with Christiansted's cornucopia of fine restaurants at your doorstep, cooking in your room is akin to taking coals to Newcastle.

The hotel has a restaurant, the Usual Suspect, that serves standard American fare like fish and steak. Many others are located within a few blocks.
