Chenay Bay Beach Resort's 30 lush, tropical acres are nestled on a hillside overlooking the Caribbean Sea only 3 miles from Christiansted and 12 miles from the St. Croix (STX) airport. This beach has been voted #1 on St. Croix’s north shore. Chenay Bay occupies the site of a former plantation and includes a 19th Century stone windmill and lime kiln. Guests can choose from studios, one or two bedroom West Indian-style cottages all with furnished front porches for relaxing. Dense flowering gardens and shade trees surround the newly renovated cottages.
Resort amenities include an outdoor infinity-edged pool, hot tub, tennis courts, water sports equipment, internet access, laundry facilities, direct beach access, and Cruzan Kid’s children’s activity program.
Cottage choices include “Garden View” with one king bed and “Ocean View” which offers one king bed or two double beds with views of the Caribbean Sea. Every cottage has a fully-equipped kitchenette (including microwave, coffeemaker, refrigerator, stovetop, and toaster) two-chair dining set, ceiling fan, air conditioner, and TV with approximately 100 cable channels.
Dining at Chenay Bay is a delightful experience at “The Shores” beachfront bar and grill. Enjoy “classic cuisine with a Caribbean flair,” as well as a full bar and wine list. The menu offers an array of tastes from casual lunch fare to evening fine dining. Guests may relax in the open air, beachfront environment while enjoying the sights and sounds of the sea. Special dinner events include an all-you-can eat fish fry on Fridays.
During your stay at Chenay Bay, take a trip into downtown Christiansted for duty-free shopping or enjoy the night life. Snorkel, kayak, scuba dive, play tennis, take a sunset cruise, visit historic sites, lie by the pool, or relax in a hammock; do as much or as little as you like.
